Relegate them now... Celtic for the title...

Presumably their game will be off now.

You have to expect that if he is a first team player then the rest will have to quarantine for 14 days.

Oh dear never mind

Would laugh like **** if Aberdeen got relegated after a winter lockdown on a PPG basis with a tonne of games in hand.

Their next 3 games may have to be postponed or perhaps a 3-0 loss for each if they cannot complete the ties.

Is it not the case though that The incubation period for the virus is as much as 11 days? So they won’t be showing any symtoms or be detectable until later? That’s why we have the system of 14 days.

Games on Sky I think. It will go ahead.

3-0 loss is the only fair way to do it IMO. I mean they relegated us 8 games remaining

They're in a supposed "bubble."

But the player in question will have been in contact with others, naturally.

As per SG guidelines, contact tracing must be done, and those in direct contact within the bubble or not, should now have to isolate. Or the "bubble" becomes at risk?

Barack Fauci.

So a bubble surely means you don't go to the pub?

Will any St J player  want to play Aberdeen on Saturday?

I would certainly not want to play against a team that had close contact with a known +ve case.

I wonder if the player was in the boozer? 👀

If St Johnston had any sense they would surely do everything in their power to have the game called off so a re-arranged fixture has the slight possibility of fans in attendance.

Has this happened to any team in any other league since any of them restarted?

1 game in 🤣🤣🤣

Someone needs to go and reclaim Doncaster from Lawwell’s arse to get another sham vote on the go. Title won on goal difference after one game 🤣

Anyone who has spent a couple of hours in his company should take a test and then self-isolate for two weeks. That’s the rules for the general public.

Correct, players will have their own friends and family that they will see outwith and bubble, some will still go out in public and some like Christian Doige and another unnamed hibs player will be raking about lothian road at 3am sunday morning trying to get into Mrs Ribbles wee cousins flat party!

If there is an incubation period before any symptoms become evident is it possible that the virus has not been evident in any Rangers players testing up to this time?

If so then a Rangers player could become positive tonight and infect an opposition player in the German team.

Dynamo Dresden had 2 players test positive in the first week football came back in Germany. Think the whole squad had to self isolate for two weeks and missed the start of the season.

The spfl pay no attention to what goes on in other leagues. As we discuss the subject celtic are printing their tee shirts

Its possible.

But the contact in a game is assessed to be very minimal risk. So playing another team isn't a reason to limit future contacts.

Anyway lets hope the player recovers from it

Could be.  I am no expert on the virus.  It seems though there's no control over it and the detection isn't solid either.  Another false positive on the way no doubt :)  No false negatives allowed.  ****ing madhouse we're in :)

After all the chat from Iain Blair about little room for manoeuvre with fixtures, I already predict the season will not finish on time. Two years in the Championship for Hearts, if the other clubs have anything to do with it.

I am hearing that Doncaster has called Cormack stating the Covid test for that player was not required

The precedent is set for ending the league early.

With relegation and promotion.

Doncaster is a caramel faced wank.

Hopefully the Aberdeen player will be fine but this makes a mockery of the bubble they spoke about.

Does it mean they don't go home to their families etc. If they do it is not a feckin bubble.

Couldn't Aberdeen just withdraw that test, and submit a different test result next week. 🤔
