It's white so that follows the logic of our 3rd kit needing to contrast the maroon and pink. No sponsor, which is consistent with all Umbro 3rd kits to date. Fwiw I reckon it's real... I think I like it in a vacuum, but ultimately I'd be disappointed as that would leave us with no kits that are truly "special" or commemorative of our 150th. All 3 kits this season could have realistically been from any given season. I'll hold out hope that we might have an additional "special" kit coming out around the new year to mark 2024 that we'll wear for a few home games. It has a dark shadow on the right hand side, when the light is coming from the front. Probably just the Umbro team wear range with a badge shopped on. Cambo Posted July 12, 2023 Share Posted July 12, 2023 Could be a potential 4th jersey which may be needed to satisfy Uefa kit alternatives, depending on colour of 3rd jersey/shorts etc. Perhaps it may never see light of day or may appear once like the yellow third jerseys of mid 1990s. My guess is that it’s either going to be all white with a maroon heart or it’ll be red white and blue hoops with MFBC along the middle. No idea on timescales for release. Not even so much the colours although black and maroon looks class but the actual design and material. Just felt like something a top English mob would have. Umbro will have provided several options to the club, and we opted for the polka dots instead. Same awkward shoulder seams. Same maroon cuffs. Same collar. It's effectively the same exact shirt in every way albeit with a different pattern sublimated into the body. IMO fans should definitely be involved in kit design and I guess the 3rd kit which was originally the FOH kit would be the place to start.
