Would not be astonished if the old standing down due to ill health card is played at some point. Not ITK in any way just born cynical.

Need to separate out business performance from the footballing side. The business has been functioning well and AB deserves a lot of credit for that. However, the football side of operations has been one disaster after another and it’s right to scrutinise the decision making that has got us where we are today. We’ve been on a downward trajectory for over 3 years now.

Who knows, maybe she’s only communicating with the “genuine fans”.

All her focus is on the financial results as opposed to the results on the park. In some ways, she should stay around if we get relegated, to get us out of her mess, but she need needs to go and we need complete change from the top down.

FOH need to step up to the plate now as well. We've put up with this crap for too long.

Correct, I have long been a supporter of Ann, but she must stand up to her mistake in allowing Levein a free hand. Ok she didn't know much about the football side, but even a blind man could see he was wrong from the start. Just the way he handled dumping a Championship winning team should have alarm bells ringing.

The deals he handed out would be fine if we were signing Messi, not for second rate has been's.

Nobody can justify her remaining as CEO (or even at the club) and least of all FOH. I’ve made monthly donations for years now but I’ll stop them if Budge remains in charge. She’s pissing the cash up a wall and FOH don’t even look like intervening.

Personally I hope she stays on the board looking after the financial and commercial side of things , but we need a decent CEO as a matter of priority.

Even if we somehow manage to escape relegation and /or win the cup she should still be gone given the position we are in  and her failure to act over levein. Also her failure to understand that the main purpose of the business is the first team.

The footballing side is the business and she has failed, abysmally

I would have been in agreement, but think she has overseen a complete disaster on the field, time to go.

Herself and Craig Levein were happy to go out on the pitch and share the praise with the players when we won the championship so now has to take the blame for this massive failure. There are many people responsible for this mess but ultimately (as in any organisation) the buck stops with her.

I thank her for everything she has done which will has secured this club for a long time but her loyalty to Levein has ruined things.

The more I think about it she's the most culpable of all she was the one person who could have stopped all of this.

Myriad chances to act over the past few years and she did nothing.

Her position is untenable moving forward.

She's got me on the single malt at 10 am ffs

It’s the way forward. Especially over the next few months.

We need both, an astute business person as Ann is and a Sporting Director with the requisite football knowledge.

All Ann Budge is guilty of is being overly loyal, a mistake she has admitted to and won't make again. Our issues at the moment are on the pitch and not in the boardroom.

Ultimately Ann and/or the major shareholder will decide. I can’t see how she can stay on if we get relegated though.

Since that admission from last year she managed to not appoint a sporting director first when that was the logical thing to do, procrastinate for months and then make the wrong appointment. We've come a long way since excessive loyalty but I am not sure it was only just a matter of that. She is not shy about basking in the limelight and successful people's ego's demand to be fed.

The biggest issue is 100% in the boardroom. The cliche of a fish rotting from the head down applies perfectly to Hearts. Budge didn’t just make a mistake with Levein. She was clueless about football and therefore couldn’t see what was really happening. It’s a red line. She’s

done.

It’s an extraordinary situation. We’ve served up so much money in return for literally no representation. For the first time I’m thinking about stopping my donations. I’m struggling to see the point.

" I won't have to sack Craig. He will know when it is time to go"

Total and disastrous abnegation of one of the main responsibilities of anyone running a football club. And total and disastrous misreading of character of someone she is supposed to know well.

We will soon see if Ann knows when it is time to go.

Absolutely spot on mate. The FOH silence has been deafening. Bunch of Levein yes men are on the FOH board. Stewart Wallace and the rest of them are disgraces.

Runaway spending on new stand (still not complete) -  dumped on FoH.

DoF allowed to appoint his pet (Cathro) who after one press conference looked like  a rabbit in headlights, and didn't improve. It's almost impossible to believe she ever interviewed this guy on any level and could think him suitable.

Cathro binned, and CL is appointed after a search for a new manager/coach/whatever fails. Apparently.

AB says she's going to review "the football dept at the start of 19/20 season (what was the club doing over the close season , after a calamitous preceding 5 months ?)  after saying publicly how disorganised CL is.

Then we then find out what has REALLY been going on behind the scenes that accounts for a disastrous  5 months in 18/19 season.

Apparently there were funds available in the last transfer window - look how that panned out.

FoH reps have a duty to hold exec directors to account - what are they doing ? Obviously not questioning  the performance of director Levein or the crazy structure which allows him so much control and is such a fundamental business risk. We all know how that panned out.

No issues in the boardroom ?

If this was a PLC that you had shares in run like that, squandering millions, in a 3 year decline, you'd say "no issues in the boardroom". Honestly?

Cathro being appointed was a risk worth taking at the time IMO based on the league position when he took over. He came with a lot of potential and pedigree from across Europe and could’ve went either way. What wasn’t worked in was his inability to deal with the media. For him to still be involved in conversations is remarkable. He’s been away for 3 odd years.

CL and AB have sole responsibility for the mess we’re in and her radio silence since his removal from his post is deafening. She doesn’t know what to say, or what to do.

The DOF post is still empty, which was one of the priorities apparently.

The club is falling to bits under her leadership and the disconnect between fans and hierarchy is getting bigger with every passing day.

The sooner this footballing season is over the better so work can commence on sorting this mess.

If we are relegated at Tynecastle then it might be idea for Budge to arrange a police escort out the stadium.  There will be many angry supporters baying for blood.😂
