The most positive stat of the evening is we are now 4 points off the drop.  We didn’t lose and are a work in progress.

That would be three positive stats.

Personally I can find little positives. This was a must win game and we couldn’t even manage a shot on target.

I've said it numerous times. This Hearts squad is full of imposters.

No shots at goal against any team is brutal whichever way you look at it.

Time to give the manager a bit of backing, relegation is a reality if we don't.

Indeed. The slavering clown will be chugging away at his attempt at humour and that the Lochend Cockends won.

An utter ramjet.

Concise and eloquent as usual.

Terrible result, all things considered.  0 shots on target is absolutely shocking.  Make no mistake - we are in a relegation dogfight and February looks absolutely brutal.  We need a huge response and we need it now.

This. Some folk are ****ing eejits!!

DS is still peeing with the cock Levein has left him. We need a few more bodies in that can help us out,not just brought in for the sake of it.

But he has had players return from injury since Levein was sacked and yet results have got worse. Given that Stendel is presented by many as a tactical genius, is it really unreasonable to expect him to improve results rather than make them worse?

Danny, you seem to be saying we now have no chance of being in the play-offs?

If we keep putting in performances like tonight (I wasn’t there but based on reporting) we will struggle to make the play offs. We need to win games like tonight to have any chance of moving of the bottom. We have Sevco on Sunday and I can’t see us winning that. It’s a sad day when I say things like that about Hearts. We need to bring a striker who can shoot and hit the target never mind score.

As long as he gets away with it there's not much we can do, except get ourselves banned.

I wouldn't give him the satisfaction.

This has surely got to open their eyes how urgently we need a striker

We do, however we also need a non-anonymous midfield otherwise we are deffo goosed.

What the Hell has that to do with wanting Hibs to beat Hamilton?

If Hamilton had beaten Hibs we’d still be needing to win games.

Hibs would be on 25points 6ahead of St Mirren so you’d have us at the bottom then 6 teams within 6points of each other none of whom are in any sort of form. Proper dogfight then.

I don't disagree with what you say, but you did say if we didn't win tonight we have no chance of the play-offs.

We really do need a capable striker, though.

Maybe should be getting a double session of shooting practice.

This woeful number of shots at goal has been going on for a long time now. 😏

I’ll be honest and say I would rather hibs were in the Top 6 after the split.

The last thing we need if we are scrambling for points is a home game against that lot. 🤷‍♂️

It is time for a wee bit of calm.  we are in the bottom six, tonight we picked up a point away from home on every team above us in bottom six other than Ross Co. I admit its not great but it isn't a disaster and they had chances to win it.

According to the reporter giving updates on BBC she made it clear we DID have shots on target. BBC can be pish with this stuff - I have seen us with more shots on target than actual shots for example!

I thought that under the circumstances, make shift back 4 and Bozanic in midfield we did all right tonight. Certainly tried to play football.  Desperately need to get another striker in  though. Washington worked unbelievably hard tonight but he isn't going to score (enough) goals for us.

Am seriously contemplating deleting my kickback account. The levels of stupidity on here from that group is incredible. Stendel has signed one guy, has only one of his coaches and has been on the post 6 weeks? Actual crazy.

It's a sad state of affairs that you have even to consider doing this, but I understand completely where you are coming from. Hang on in there.

It's a start and something to work on. Need to beat the teams around us.

Especially at home. Our form has improved the last couple of league games but we  need a couple more players before the St Johnstone game.

How dare you!!!! Though i know weve lost two in a row at home to them. Rather they were dragged into it and Killie got top 6 personally. Tho after pulling it back n beating Hamilton i’d say Hibs up are safe as the bottom 6 us aside are 5points apart they will all take points here n there we need to get on a run. Feb is crucial , no reason why we shouldnt pick up 8/10 points in Feb. That will be the massive month.

We were honking 1st half.

Played better 2nd half. Uche coming on made a massive difference.

If the new laddie never slipped in front of goal it was a tap in.

Just bloody passed aviemore. Still got 3 hours before I'm home.

Still. We never got beat.

The complacency that suggests we just need to win our home games is astonishing. 23 games in we have won one home game. Anyone who isn't pant wetting (figuratively speaking) has lost touch with reality

We’ve gained a point on the teams above us, as long as we keep progressing we should be fine. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

It is full of imposters.

it wasnt must win.  It was must not lose and we didn’t concede.

Im not going to jump off a bridge but I’m not going to think we’re amazing all of a sudden either.

The old “injuries comfort blanket” coming out.

Straight from the Craig Levein book of excuses.

Nah.

But if we are discussing goals from our strikers, them not playing is an important part of that debate and discussion.

To ignore that is stupid.

Unfortunately, many posters just want to shout, slag our players and repeat until folk agree.

It's more and more obvious tho, certain posters can debate, throw in a bit banter without ripping the team, players and each other constantly.

Scary stuff, pant wetters abound. The only negative is losing more ground on Hibs but I have to say I was happy they won, strange days indeed mate.
