Enough of that common sense.  Doesn't go down well on here.

I'd have preferred 2-2 If it had to be a draw.  Goals will come on Sunday.

Unfortunately they will...

The Old Tolbooth

With a few players missing, that’s not a bad result to be fair, a tough point ground out, if we gain a point on the teams above us on average over the rest of the season we’ll be fine, and if we get a point away, and win our home games, we’ll be fine, plenty more to come yet from this side.

Don't agree with this at all.

6 goals scored in the last 3 games, only 1 conceded.

2 clean sheets in 2 for the first time this season.

Three games unbeaten.

A point gained on the team above.

It's not enough, granted, but those among us who are looking for some kind of quick turnaround are surely not in touch with the current reality.

5 of the goals were against a third tier team.

We had zero shots on target tonight.

Cant say I am overly optimistic about our survival chances unless we can sign a couple of goal threats before the end of the month.

After an hour,s play with Hamilton winning I would have happily settled for the final outcome, Still disappointed

Yep.   Plus at one stage St.Johnstone were level and could have won.   Rangers toiled a bit vs St.Mirren.

Biggest disappointment is the seemingly rancid performance though.    Draws will see us go down.    We need to start winning 1 game in 3 or 4 at the bare minimum.     Probably more.

People happy with a point up there when we are 5 points adrift 🙄

You should be happy with a point against the old firm

No this 2 bit club with x10 less budget than us

Zero shots on target and 30 mins off effort!!!

This shower of shitebags don't realise they are in a relegation fight

Remember Some people get excited on here about him because he is an “international striker” though 😂

How many chances did he miss tonight?

More importantly, how many chances did our midfield/wingers create for him or any of the others? That's the issue.

I feel sorry for Stendel. Given a pile of chicken shit and expected to make chicken salad out of it.

Also, if Budge has lost interest because of the criticism directed at her then she needs to step down now. This club needs to pull together and that starts from the top.

not the worst result but we got to find someone who can score some goals.

if we do that we will be ok,if not then were in some bother or more bother at least

I see it as just further evidence that OF aside this league is as evenly matched as I have ever seen it. It lacks quality because the Scottish game has little to no money with all teams shopping in the same bargain basement freebie store.

When even the OF can struggle for a narrow win against what would be viewed as lower level teams as Rangers have tonight at home to St Mirren it illustrates further how difficult it can be to get anything in this league.

It's going to be an almighty struggle but I still see Hearts coming through. Home wins are vital going forward.

What little money we had - which was more than the majority of other teams - was wasted by Levein. That is why we lack quality.

Different opinons are fine, arguments are even fun.

I just don't bother with folk that seem to get off on the bad results (a draw is OK) and go completely missing when we win.

It's so obvious as well.

If Hearts fans, I don't get what joy they get from football and Hearts.

That’s the stat that really jumps out for me too.
And 5 of them came in one game.
13 goals in 21 games.
Almost seems incredible that we can have so many forwards who never score.

Naismith and Washington haven’t played in a number of them tho.

Even now, they won't be near 100% match sharp.

It was obvious back in August we needed a new striker and we still haven’t got one. Washington was never the answer. Need to break the bank for someone special

I was worried when I read that we'd lost Smith and Hickey through injury.  Meant Stendel had to make all kinds of adjustments.

Hope they are both available on Sunday and we give Rangers a sound thrashing.

Well to be fair we got a clean sheet for the first time in ages in the league without them so that part worked ok.  We’re absolutely hopeless at the other end of the park though and the midfield is poor too.  I’m actually only upgrading the midfield to poor as Naismith improves it if he plays there, without him it’s arguably worse than our forward line.

No danger your last paragraph is happening!

This was always going to be tough. Especially missing Clare and Smith. Other results did us a favour.

How would they’ve made a significant difference out of interest? They’re not exactly prolific goal scoring threats are they?

Washington rarely scored - for any team he has played for - when he was match sharp. Washington is not a goal scorer.

I don’t know about anyone else but I see a point as a positive.. the situation we are in, the pressure on the team and we still get a point away from home to Ross County midweek? I’d have 100% taken that before the game

Washington’s goal scoring record is shite at every league club he’s been at.  Never even managed one at Sheffield Utd.  He ain’t the answer.

Naismith I’ll give you.

I’m not saying guys like Uche or Washington don’t offer anything to the team but what they won’t give us is goals IMO. Or certainly not more than a handful.

We all agree yes we need players that can score ASAP, but on a crap Wednesday night up there it could be worse. Let’s hope we up the game on Sunday and we make the most of it being at our home, stay behind our hearts keep making noise, things will get better.

At the end of it we have all supported our hearts no matter how bad things have gotten.have faith in our Daniel and support our players that are low in confidence as I genuinely believe the will repay us hhgh 🇱🇻🇱🇻

Depends how much ‘off target’ you mean. Some wild shooting tonight. Uche, Naismith and Washington all guilty. We need an accomplished goal scorer ASAP.

Just one lousy goal, a rebound off somebodies arse, anything and things would look soooooo much better tonight. One point away isn't too bad but three points would have been fantastic. It's going to be a long haul lads. Hold on tight. And. Never. Give. Up.  COME ON THE HEARTS !!!!
