You can't teach goal scoring, it's a natural ability. If we don't break the bank to get Boyce in, or someone with similar stats, then we are going down.

The person holding the purse strings is Ann Budge.....................over to you Ann!!!

Thier expectations will never be met.

A particular group will always be vocal and premature in calling for a managers head.

They will then say they were correct when he leaves, celebrate the new man and rinse and repeat.

Robbie - Cathro - CL-Stendel, has already started.

The same daft group that call for Robbo or Locke to be the manager. It’s beyond soul destroying now tho.

I doubt any more encouragement or evidence was needed. We need to sign more players to get out of this.

This is what the season now amounts to. Desperate attempts to gain a point occasionally on the teams immediately above us. 2 wins in 23 does not augur well. We are at present odds on to be playing in the Championship next season.

Only according to you. Certainly not the bookies. Who should I believe?

The clowns on here suggesting we should see this as some sort of positive must be hobbits on the wind up surely to ****.

Don't agree with this at all.

6 goals scored in the last 3 games, only 1 conceded.

2 clean sheets in 2 for the first time this season.

Three games unbeaten.

A point gained on the team above.

It's not enough, granted, but those among us who are looking for some kind of quick turnaround are surely not in touch with the current reality.

This is Leveins fault. He signed forwards (Naismith apart) who can’t score. We are now carrying and left with dross up front when we need goals. We need to spend on a striker or two now or we will be relegated.

Not what we wanted but overall a small gain after it looked like we might go backwards.    Rangers next so another gain looks unlikely.     Then we'll need to win a game before Celtic.

After an hour,s play with Hamilton winning I would have happily settled for the final outcome, Still disappointed

Good point.

A team so devoid of confidence was never just going to click into gear immediately.

Pleased.

Enough of that common sense.  Doesn't go down well on here.

I'd have preferred 2-2 If it had to be a draw.  Goals will come on Sunday.

Wanting to sign a guy that's 15 stone and has recently retired does make you a Hibs front bottom though.

Stendel has to be a miracle worker from now until the end of this season.

As time goes on, the theory that a manager 90% of the time is only as good as the players he picks more and more applies.  He’s working with players he probably doesn’t rate. There’s obviously a few he does and will keep and improve, but he needs to perform an overhaul to be judged on a team in his image and identity.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he walked if it carries on. I’m not even convinced we’ll get more players in.

he’s obviously been given “promises” to come here. Was one of them I’ll just let the guy who got us in this mess mill about, sneaking into the changing room when your backs turned, look for a physio to make his stubborn nature about not completely walking away from the club when he should’ve? I doubt it.

“bring your own staff Daniel” in fact don’t promise them anything because we won’t even fully support you with that either. You can have one, but here have the rest of the cast offs that specks has left behind.

Brutal.

Gus played his second 90 minutes in months.

Naismith just back as well.

Donis first game in the country.

Too many folk play football manager and take that forward to real life.

Kickback in a nutshell for so many halfwits  on here

I see it as just further evidence that OF aside this league is as evenly matched as I have ever seen it. It lacks quality because the Scottish game has little to no money with all teams shopping in the same bargain basement freebie store.

When even the OF can struggle for a narrow win against what would be viewed as lower level teams as Rangers have tonight at home to St Mirren it illustrates further how difficult it can be to get anything in this league.

It's going to be an almighty struggle but I still see Hearts coming through. Home wins are vital going forward.

Is anybody else just a bit meh about that? Considering we’ve got the same players we’ve had all season and we were away from home I’m not gutted but just a wee bit disappointed.

Just a wee bit.

we’ve played St J, Hamilton, Hibs and Aberdeen at home and Ross a County since Stendel came in. That is a very easy run of fixtures. We’ve taken two points and score two goals.

a wee bit disappointing! It is an utter abomination.

I am not criticising Stendel here at all but what an absolute shocking state of affairs.

everything you see at this club today, is his fault. I’m serious about that. The trust Budge wrongly put in this incompetent pr*** is astounding.

18 goals in 22 games this season :(

That’s the stat that really jumps out for me too.
And 5 of them came in one game.
13 goals in 21 games.
Almost seems incredible that we can have so many forwards who never score.

We need new players, all fair and well stendel managing to improve some of the players, especially clare but unles we get another two or three in and more importantly, a striker, i think we could go down, irvine is good and showing promise but its chronic how much we miss haring, bozanic is nowhere near the standard required, not his fault, tries hard but him and a few others just dont have the quality, massive couple of weeks so get the money out ann, you did for everyone else......

Precisely this. Very good perspective in the circumstances. Some people need to get a grip. Rome wasn’t built in a day. We’re making progress. Well said.

Yes the positives are that our previously key injured players got another run out. Sounds like Perreira was OK tonight as well. If our players stay fit we should start picking up wins.
