Could argue hearts uninspiring job for Robinson to take

Even at our lowest ebb, it’s a great job.  Don’t kid yourself chief.

Absolutely.  Given where we are and where we potentially could be, it is a bloody good job.

"Sporting Director also to be appointed"

Jamie Borthwick's twitter

She mentioned that at the HMSA dinner last week.  That role will take on oversight of the Academy and youth development, probably other non-first team stuff that Levein did.  They key thing though is that she has stated that the new manager will report directly to the CEO.

I may be wrong but I am sure most other clubs have a sporting director? Hibs have the boy Craig and I think Rangers recently appointed a new one.

Difference though in terms of control over first team matters.

George Craig decides a lot of things. Neil Lennon confirmed that. Hearts may be giving manager more control eg over signings.

Interesting that she says she'd like to appoint the SD before a new manager, then goes on to talk about us not having a consistent style of play.  Could it be she wants the SD to define a style of play then look for a manager who will fit this style?

"We have to compete with the top clubs in Scotland and to do that we want a very experienced and high profile manager."

She has set herself up for a massive fall if this doesn`t happen.

You can rule out most of this list now.... Only Moyes, Kean, O`Neil and Boothroyd can be described as what she is looking for.

Getting Austin out of harm's way in a role more suited to his talents

Really? I would say its a significant thing to say.

Gerrard & Lennon are high the only high profile managers in this country, currently.

I don't think she'd have said it without being quietly confident

See Northern Ireland's next two games? (Holland and Germany) makes the 4-6 timescale comment interesting..

Guardiola and Klopp are high profile. Not going to be on that level.

Whilst arguably Steven Robinson has a high profile in Scotland

managed at a higher level than Oldham and Motherwell. and have something on your CV more standout than a 7th and 8th place finish and a sacking after 30 games

Rubbish, "Sporting Director coming in soon" along with a "High profile and experienced Manager"
