She needs to pull out all the stops now and get them in.

having his team in place will make a huge difference imo.

Thank you for the music

The songs your singing

Thanks for all the joy you’re bringing

Who can live without you,

I ask in all honestly?

Every fecking one of us, as it turns out. Apart from Budge who probably needs you to put her shoes on in the morning.

Any feel good factor about Stendel signing just disappeared the day after when it became clear Budge still sees a role for this ****.

I’m predicting Stendel will get frustrated at the fact his own coaches are unable to join him and use it as an excuse to walk away before the end of the season.

A very real possibility in my view.

Astonishing that Ann thinks the architect of our downfall should still be skulking around behind the scenes giving us the benefit of his “expertise”. Absolutely astonishing.

Where we are now is a culmination of Levein’s master plan that he set in motion 5 years ago. A squad made up of a ragtag collection of unwanted/unfit/untried gambles

Todays 14 players:

Perreira - inexperienced gamble

Clare - Project Gamble

Halkett - Decent

Smith - Decent but now being played all over the shop

Hickey - Top player

Damour - No idea if any good

Whelan - old man

Naismith - an expensive gamble

White - pointless gamble

Uche - Project Gamble

Maclean - Old man, and not that good 15 years ago

Henderson - unproven

Mulraney - project gamble

Bozanic - weak, prob has good passing possession stats

We could have played:

Wighton - cheap Project Gamble. Wait, we paid how much???

Meshino - not interested in us.

And then we have the unwanted:

Cochrane - stagnated

Connor Smith - promising debut and then deported

Ollie Lee - average but 50% more effective than Bozanic

Callumn Morrison - did well at Easter Road but now missing

Jamie Walker - meh, is he injured or just out?

Only two players we are missing that we need are Souttar and Washington. But not one fringe player has the ability or footballing ability to step up.

And yet, the man responsible is now dealing with our medical department and the other guy is at home watching YouTube videos to unearth another belter.

In summary, and apologies for waffling, **** everyone responsible for putting this squad together. **** off the lot of you.

Most people tend to live to their income level so their outgoings tend to match their income. I reckon this will be his last job in football.

Fair enough, think you are cutting the guy major slack.

As i said previously, we are faced with the risk of relegation which would inevitably mean job losses for others. But as long as Craig is getting his winter and summer holidays. 🤔

Stendel cannot be truly honest about what he has inherited until the previous regime has left the building, and I include Budge in that statement.  I 100% appreciate what Budge has done to save the club but the next chapter is being written and her part has been played.

Die to lack of fitness, poor positional sense and failure to mark properly. Midfield might allow him to do what he’s good at and push up the park.

But that leaves Berta and Dikamona in centre defence. Dodgy.

Or we move Smith to the middle, which leaves Clare at right back. Also dodgy.

I get we have players injured and missing but the problem we have is that every squad player we have appears to be a project that looked good on you tube, or were signed for their experience, and it is a policy that has failed miserably.

I agree it’s like choosing between a punch in the nose and a kick in the balls. My personal preference would be Smith and Berra in the middle. We’ve conceded less with them playing there than any other partnership. I think Halkett is our worst defender right now, worse than Clare by some way.

The recruitment has been abysmal. If you ever get the time look at the 20 players we signed last season and see how they’re all doing.

Captain Canada

I can't fathom the mentality of someone to be hanging around picking up a wage while he sees what's happening on the pitch.

His five-year plan is going to see us back where we started in the Championship.

If Levein is solely responsible for the recruitment then he should hang his head in shame. Budge who is completely clueless to what a footballer looks like relied too heavily on Levein. Most knowledgeable Hearts fans could see what was needed to improve but we never played the type of game required to win games often enough and we lacked the players to do it. I could go on all day about each and every player in our side however two players that were allowed to leave the club were actually better than what we kept. Those two were Lee & Edwards, now I think we can do better than these boys but we let them go. Edwards in particular had energy and a good work rate, that’s exactly what we needed but Levein let’s him go. We needed pace & dynamism in the team but we never got it. It was blatantly obvious what we required but Levein failed. Recruitment has been horrendous and I just hope however is involved in that process will no longer have a job at the club.

Hes hanging around because he knows this is his last job in football, and he has Budge wrapped around his little finger.

If we manage to find form and stay up, I wouldn't be shocked if she extended his  contract.

Exactly. If he loved the club as much as he claims to, he'd make life easy for Budge and resign.

It's quite incredible CL showed Stendel around Riccarton without anyone explaining who he was first.

As far as I'm concerned he's caused the situation we're in now due to selfishness and stubbornness. He has nothing positive to offer us going forward and if we offer him a new contract, there will be a massively negative reaction. I certainly don't think Stendel wants him around!

Agree with posts above, levein has caused the desperate situation that we are in yet still has the nerve and balls to stick around taking a wage from the club, if he loved the club as much as he says then he would resign and free up money for new signings, but I think his ego and stubborness show him to have no shame and I believe in his mind/massive ego he will blame everyone else players coaches and probably fans too for his failings and predicament for which we find ourselves in

Dear Craig, I hope you are satisfied with this shitefest that you have created. Now please do not forget to switch off the light when you leave and post the key in the letterbox and spend some time reflecting on what you have done to this fine team. I wouldn't be surprised if Daniel decides to call it a day before the end of his contract because you've set him up big time.

Marv.
