We have to understand she will be doing this the business way. Not the football way, which ends up paying thousands in compensation. Ann Budge does things differently, with organisation, opinions were very different in the close season about his dismissal. There in lies the problem, for the forum, that folk are not realising that their view is not total, its as universal now as I think it will ever be, but it definitely wasn't, most people I think would have been pleased after the Motherwell game and we were going to be back on track. I’m sorry, mate, I disagree. The business is inextricably linked with what goes on on the field. It’s a football club for crying out loud. We are only responding to things that AB has said herself, namely, that 4th place was the target we should be achieving. We have failed twice in that, badly actually. There was a very popular opinion after the final that he should have gone then. I was one who agreed with that. Not very different from now as you claim. The only difference now is, reasonable, sensible posters, like yourself, all want him gone, and gone now. I don’t think we have to be business masterminds to know that , if this continues, and gets worse, then it will take a lot longer to fix, and cost money in lost revenue. The Motherwell game now seems a long way off.

I wouldn't say she doesn't give the slightest ****. Think we're all forgetting Mrs Budge was a ST holder for years before she took over. She's a fan deep down just like the rest of us. She's been very transparent in statements before, particularly about how the club essentially has football a department and a commercial department. She's also been very clear and honest about how she has no place to really meddle with the football side of things. What are you expecting? A 500 word tactical breakdown of Craig Levein's failings? Ann isn't stupid, nor ignorant. I'm sure she's fully aware of the noise coming from the supporters right now. Ann has been a breath of fresh air to this club in the past 5 years, and her refusal to succumb to mob pressure and stand by her manager is in some respects another breath of fresh air in the modern game. Whether she's right to do so is looking increasingly wrong, but there might still be a happy ending yet.

My personal issue is other teams go through and at least have some idea on how they might sneak a goal. We go through, sit back and let them come at us. We then do the same the next game through there and the next. Other sides have a chance of sneaking the odd result if they get them on an off day. We never know if they’re having an off day because it’s defence v attack, like a training exercise. It’s soul destroying and not because we get beat. The manner of our performance is just so depressing.

I obviously give our support more credit than you do for being able to see what’s in front of their eyes.
