Neither club came out and said that the fee all over the papers was rubbish though. A year down the line, the fee shouldn't be undisclosed. The story you are highlighting was a suggestion that a player would be signed whereas the article I quoted was relating to an Actual Transfer where there was never any suggestion from anyone that a fee had not been paid. So what you are really saying is that the fee was not as high as £250k. If my theory on what you are saying is correct then it is the amount you dispute rather than the fact a fee was paid.
