Just going by what has appeared on the internet, be it on here or on Facebook for example, I had drawn the impression that incoming business would be very limited, if there is to be any at all. One of the things mentioned was hoping to extend the loan deal for Dunne, and at a guess I'd say any talks are ongoing, and not really the sort of stuff the press want to use up column space on. Vanecek is due to arrive very shortly, I have it in the back of mind, it might be tomorrow he arrives, in time to head off for the Winter break with the squad. With news in the papers yesterday that Souttar and Ikpeazu are being left at home to finalise their recuperation periods, that in itself suggests to me that come KO time versus Livingston on 20 January Craig will have a choice of Naismith, Ikpeazu, Vanecek and McLean to pick to play up front. If Dunne doesn't return it also suggest Souttar is very, very close to returning as well. So in central defence we will have him and Berra as first choices, and be safe in the knowledge that Michael Smith can slot in alongside Berra if an emergency pops up. I've read, mostly on here, that Djoum will be leaving, but never read anything anywhere else to back this up. Haring has performed to a high standard despite his hernia problem, so I think it is safe to say we will see an even better player by the end of this month, after the operation has been completed. Lee looked a lot more like his old self down at Easter Road, so again the basis of the midfield is there. Brandon is coming back from injury, Godinho is getting game time, we now have the possibility of Doyle and Zlamal fighting over the goalkeeping position so in all honesty I cannot see that we are sleeping, just because shit loads of players haven't arrived between 1 January and 5 January. Yes Vanecek is going to Spain. I think Souttar is ahead of Uche and we will see Souttar back first provided he isn’t sold. Uche needs a pin taken out his foot before he can kick a ball etc. We have Dikamona as cover also or if we want to play a back 3. I think the guy from Leeds will sign on loan and we wont see Dunne back. Heard we have a winger joining us in Spain for a trial. "The former Reading man has been fit and still missed out on under-23 matches this season, which says much for where he is in the current pecking order. The 22-year-old is on the cusp of a loan move to Heart of Midlothian, but that may be on hold while Bielsa weighs up his options for QPR." Sounds like pure speculation. DC_92
You can register for three clubs in a season but you can only play official matches for two. jamboinglasgow
wonder if there is an appeal system to FIFA, surely its not right for a player to be considered as played for two clubs when they only played 78 mins for one in the season.
