Too many players froze but they also weren’t helped by Pochettino starting with 3 centre backs. Think that was a boo boo as it stunted his own side in a forward sense. By fate, the injury to Vertonghen gave him no choice but to revert to something more comfortable for his players and it helped. Got to say though, how fast, strong and dynamic are Ajax? Ajax favourites with the away goal but a fast start for Spurs could see them right back in it. Should be another good one tonight, if Liverpool can nick a goal it could make for a classic tie.
