Hagar the Horrible Posted June 30, 2014 Share Posted June 30, 2014 I have a pair for 5's with astroturf soles, when somebody stands on your toes with these slippers it hurts, 2 broken toes inside a year, I still have an old pair of Mitre football books, screw in studs not moulded blades they feel like steel toe caps in comparison, never any problems with grip nor some fat eejit breaking my toes? Golfers have made to measure golf clubs, tennis players have their rackets strung to their game, football players have one item to buy to apply their trade and they all buy from sports direct these pink/blue or yellow slippers with blades? I once met Pat Jennings after he retired as goalkeeper for Spurs, Arsenal and Northern Ireland. He had absolutely huge hands - and was quite embarrassed about them.
