Tazio
I've been watching Superstition on Netflix. Not fantastic but enjoyable enough if you like your supernatural thriller type things. The usual American small town with a secret world of dark creatures etc. I suppose it is slightly different from the norm that most of the main characters are African-American. MadJock
These have probably been mentioned so apoligies if i repeating others recomendations. Just finished The Terror - Enjoyed it but did not live upto the hype Currently half way through Lost in space, really enjoying this but its a bit more of a colony survival drama than a space sci fi. Noticed Into The Badlands has started Season 3, if your into a bit of Kung Fu action and over the top martial arts fight scenes give the first 2 seasons a try, its not epic but it is enjoyable (i enjoyed it anyways)

While I love how gritty and dark Gomorrah is (it's pretty much a never ceasing torrent of bleakness), it doesn't have likable characters in the same way as The Sopranos did. You kind of loved Tony, Paulie, Sil and co a bit even though they were ruthless *******s. They had endearing qualities too and provided some comedic moments. Pretty much everyone is Gomorrah is just a ****.

It seems to be aa Anglo / American production as some of the spoken dialogue is very Americanised " Gas " for " petrol" and talking about " kids " ( 19 years old !!) and that family who are hiding the body are just plain bonkers and comical ( not sure if they are meant to be comic relief !!!). Ill probably give it another couple episodes as I'm curious to see how bad it will get....It just proves the power of advertising though as I only have viewed it due to this. Although it does have a good cast , in particular Michael C Hall who is an excellent actor but he has certainly did much better than this. Happily each episode only seems to last 40 mins (again geared to an American audience ). And finally when did the UK have " gated communities " ???? Thankfully it's been cancelled at last and I won't need sit through any more. Speaking of sitting through shite, she's finally finished watching Gossip Girl. If you're still putting up with this bollocks, tell her <Spoiler below> Spoiler Blair and Chuck end up together, it was Dan all along and we're turning this shit off now. Pans Jambo
Only 4 episodes but just finished watching Evil Genius on Netflix. Really good. Its a true life documentary about a bank robbery/murder that starts really bizarrely. Guy rocks up to a bank with a bomb locked round his neck and robs the place. Only escapes with a paltry amount ($10k or something) before being apprehended by the police across the street. You see footage from the banks cameras and as the guy is handcuffed on the ground by the police, someone is actually filming it when the bomb round his neck goes off (horrible as you get to see it). Was he part of the robbery or a patsy? The whole story unfolds in the 4 episodes complete with interviews of the accused etc. Really gripping stuff. old school tie
The Deuce. It's set in 1970's New York. In New York, the violence of the drug epidemic is worsening. Twin brothers Vincent and Frankie Martino become fronts for the mafia while operating out of Times Square, which is also the home of "Candy," a sex worker who turns to the now legal emerging porn industry.
