tian447
People that still fall for these stupid competitions where they're "giving stuff away" because they're unsealed / damaged boxes / overstocked. It's absolutely ridiculous. Seen one the other day for a "Play Station Four" giveaway. All you have to do is share the post, like it on their page and comment with the word "Done" to be in with a chance of winning 1 of 200 Play Station Fours. It's called a PlayStation 4. No space, and a number. If they were really giving it away, you'd think they would spell it properly. Their claim that they can't sell them because they're unsealed is ridiculous, why could they not? Over 10,000 people had commented on this. When are people going to learn that these things are a total con?
superjack
A friend on my FB is about to start an internship with the church to become a minister. As it's an internship he is not paid whilst training/studying. Today he posted that he is looking for as many of his friends as possible to sponsor him ?10 a month so he can afford to do the internship. I suggested that, seeing as he is based in Edinburgh, why does he not get a part time job to subsidise. His response was, it is something he might have to consider as a last resort of he can't raise the money by scrounging. Personally, I wouldn't have the brass neck to announce in public that I don't want to work whilst studying, so can others please give me their hard earned cash? trotter
I didn't know that. Good cause, shit way of promoting awareness. IIRC, the 22 bit comes from the number of US veterans that commit suicide every day due to PTSD, and other conditions brought on by service.
