Kris Boyd would be a great signing for anyone in Scottish football.

Anyone who thinks otherwise should be put in a container and dropped in to the North Sea.

Correct, the SPL's top goal score still has the ability to score AND he has added to his game, no longer is he the lazy poacher.

Its not worth anything- its toxic, no-one would touch that deal.

They dont need to either- they have made millions in pay/shares and settlements already + bonuses

And they will continue to do so

The club was bought for ?6million.

The return for the owners has already surpassed that, and they still own it

100 % + return and counting

Cheers , is Ibrox in fact a "listed building"? Historic Scotland would have a say anyway i would imagine in any sale maybe??

There's no way sevco would agree to these wages for a player now imo. There trying to cut the wages not increase them next season. Sally would need the boards approval to sound out a player with terms.

Reality v rumours on twitter lol. Seriously though no way they would pay that much for Boyd, they are haemorrhaging money at the moment and no sign of "if" their fans will buy STs.

Wouldn't disagree, but he's nowhere near worth ?7k a week, especially in the championship. You could sign a lot better, younger and fitter strikers for half that wage.

I would disagree. He has always been slow and beefy. He does however regualrly rip us for arse paper, and many others beside. He is brutally effective and you know exactly what you are getting with him

Think folk are missing the point, The Rangers have asked their current players to take a 15% pay cut and don't have a pot to piss in. They should be looking at players with potential sell on value if they are going to pay ?7k a week. The irony is that Fat Salary is driving them in the coffin instead of trying to work with mainly youngsters.

So your saying Kris Boyd is worth ?7,000 per week?

Boyd would do a good job for them & us tbh. A players only worth what a club will pay at the end & sevco have a track record of over paying players as we know.. Ha ha ..

He probably would do a good job for them but the majority view of RaPeepul seems to be GTF. They look at it as a giant step backwards from what they are trying to achieve.

Whatever the hell that is.

Signing Boyd stops us getting him, classic old scum tactic, though I'd wager he'd stay with Killie another year in Premier before coming to Hearts in Championship anyway.

This is value for money, its like something from Brewster's Millions, Wallace who has clearly been working full time on the much needed 120 day review which in turn will probably state the bleeding obvious and will be erhmm taken under consideration from the board. Will be getting a bonus for his efforts, a bonus of 100% of his salary...yeah really 100% How can I get a job like that? I need to start wearing brown brogues with a navy suit.

Taking the money situation out of it, if they are still making signings like Kris Boyd then they will skoosh the Championship.

They will be losing players not signing them, the Boyd rumour is to try and get then to buy ST, we will be strengthening significantly .. They prob be -25 .. There will be no skooshing IMO

I picked up this article on TSFM from Roddy Forsyth in the Telegraph. - I can't find the story on the online edition, hence no link.

?Nor should we forget about accountancy and stocktaking, dry arts which are transformed into burning controversies within the context of football, especially at Ibrox where Graham Wallace?s 120-day review has now been completed and is available, Telegraph Sport understands, for perusal in draft form by selected personnel within Rangers. It is due to be made public officially on April 25, although it will undoubtedly leak before then.

There was a commercial uptick at Ibrox this week, with the announcement of shirt sponsorship by online casino operators 32Red worth, as the Telegraph revealed, ?600,000 per annum over two years with an option on a third year.

The word reaching me from within Ibrox is that the first year?s tranche is not quite sufficient to cover the chief executive?s annual salary plus 100 per cent performance bonus which is to be paid in August in cash, shares or both. I do not know if Graham Wallace is worth that or not ? he will be judged on the contents of his review ? but no doubt there will be a long queue of voluble supporters willing to venture an opinion."

It will be interesting to see what is leaked from Wallace's review over the next week. I note that the Union of Fandans were querying the bonus culture at the club yesterday. If it is confirmed that Wallace is on a 100% bonus scheme, I think that opposition to the current board, and Wallace personally, will increase rapidly. Plus ?a change, plus c'est la m?me chose.

just a wee bit of the 5 way agreement, the rest will be interesting

Charlotte Fakes published a copy of the full document (at least a late draft) back in September last year.

The letter that Farin has published was a separate document that CF published a couple of weeks after the 5-Way agreement draft

I vaguely remember this being mentioned before, but I wonder if discussions between CO and VR about what was seen as 'normal' business practice is what kicked off the whole SFA mafia rants.

Think they'd get a 25 point deduction for going into admin for a second time in so many years.

This would be the first time that The Rangers went into admin. They're a new club.

Is this is the type of honest mistakes we can expect from refs when we play the Huns next season?.

I hope we have a manager that is media savvy and has some balls for next season - we are going to need to deal with this sort of stuff and not just meekly shrug our shoulders about it like Locke has done this season.
