adambraejambo Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 Can't explain how I feel about this. 800 pages long. 700 are a decent easy to read spy thriller the other 100 all I can say is WTF. Anyone who has finished this will know what I mean. Quote

Will get to it soon. Quote
BlueRiver Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel. Not bad but fairly basic lessons in it. Quote

JudyJudyJudy Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Re reading this great book by PD James . A great read , more a psychological thriller than her usual whodunnit books . An 18 years old girl decides to trace her birth parents after being adopted at an early age . I recall it’s actually quite moving as well as a thriller when she finally locates them . Quote
Jacques de Gatineau Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 Just started - and enjoying - reading Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian. After giving up on the The Road many years ago, I think I finally get McCarthy's writing. Quote

John Findlay Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 I just bought the first Four Richard Osman Thursday Murder club books. They were cheap, but I am in two minds whether to actually read them or not. Quote

Would be an interesting watch. I actually left the book in the car and forgot about it for a week. Just picked it up again tonight. Not an easy read, but he has something that I just can't describe which makes it worth reading. Quote
