Can't explain how I feel about this.  800 pages long. 700 are a decent easy to read  spy thriller the other 100 all I can say is WTF. Anyone who has finished this will know what I mean.

It's on my to be read list. I really enjoyed I Am Pilgrim, although it was a bit far fetched. Haven't heard too much about this one tbh. Will get to it soon.

Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel.

Not bad but fairly basic lessons in it.

Does anyone know how to get Kindle books that are not available in a particular region?

I really enjoyed it. It moves along at a good clip. It's not going to win any literary awards but it's a good police/crime thrillers.

Re reading this great book by PD James . A great read , more a psychological thriller than her usual whodunnit books . An 18 years old girl decides to trace her birth parents after being adopted at an early age . I recall it’s actually quite moving as well as a thriller when she finally locates them .

Just started - and enjoying - reading Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian. After giving up on the The Road many years ago, I think I finally get McCarthy's writing.

They were going to make a movie of the book.

No idea if they still are due to McCarthy's death.

I just bought the first Four Richard Osman Thursday Murder club books. They were cheap, but I am in two minds whether to actually read them or not.

I quite enjoyed the first one. But as the series goes on, they get a bit too silly for me🤣

Would be an interesting watch.

I actually left the book in the car and forgot about it for a week. Just picked it up again tonight. Not an easy read, but he has something that I just can't describe which makes it worth reading.

It's decent and a bit of humorous light relief in between the various more heft fantasy series I'm working my way through at the moment.
