It appears that the Leanach Mission Church is an example of a "Tin Tabernacle", a sort of prefabricated church prevalent in the mid-19th century onwards.

You wouldn't know from looking, it's a nice thing. But to be fair, the only one I've been to is the Italian Chapel on Orkney, also very nice if a bit more obvious when you look past the facade

A visit to the above is highly recommended. Entry by donation only and enough to keep you occupied for a good few hours. Fans of Outlander will recognise some of it

Yip - penalty heading red's way for jumping the gun :D

Damn, sorry. I didn't realise that no-one had got that one yet.

I'll accept my penalty like the whimpering coward I am. :D

Definitely has the look of a parish church, or former parish church. Can't find it though...

I'm not sure what it is but it's behind the Cross Keys pub on Lanark Road.

That's the white gable of the pub on the bottom right.

Edit to fix a spelling error.

Nice one, SUTOL. :)

Turns out to be the former Slateford Secession Church (1785), now used for storage.

I'm away for a few hours, so for the yacht photo, just get those guesses coming and I'll nay or yay them later on.

Or, alternatively, as I'm away, someone else can post a photo and do that in the meantime...

Thanks, took a bit of finding, despite going past it several times most weeks!

Great find.  That one was doing my head in!  The last few from luckyBatistuta have been a nightmare to find.  He must be driving about looking up at rooftops!

Trick number 1 in "Where is this?"

If you're on a computer (you can see less on a mobile device), download the image, enlarge it CSI style, and have a *good* look around it in case there are any wee clues lurking there.

What script is the language in? It's not the Roman/Latin script we're used to.

Nope. Correct country though (although I suppose it could have been Cyprus).

The colour of the boats was a dead giveaway to the country. Is it on Kos, can't remember the name of the village though but its very familiar.
