BS is for the first night's cop investigation so the masons can work out who he is - and maybe bag a bonus goon while they're at it. There was one game where it was going all stalematey and I suggested a revised BS whereby I suggested what you've just done...and Malky tried to claim it as his idea Ach, if it worked it was my idea, if not, his It needs everyone to agree to it though and everyone to do it to guarantee everyone an equal chance of having their clogs unceremoniously popped by Yvonne. Which is still badder news than usual for the town as it just takes one goon to sow some seeds of doubt and that could be that plan scuppered. And even then, with goons only being 4 out of 25 (or whatever it is - those numbers are on the first page. I'll go back and check once I've posted this) there's much more chance of bagging a townie and since there's 6 roled townies (I'm counting the assassin as a good townie and saying nowt about last game...sorry, tedp, but I suspect you're gonna take a bit of ribbing about that one ) there's more chance of hitting a roled townie that a goon. Which isn't altogether a good idea. So, for me, I'll be going for my tried and trusted (well, it was in the last game where nobody believed me about Peanut ) 'vote for the lowest poster on the first day' strategy. I'm not even sure if the goons can pick up hints as to the identity of the cop solely by BS - they must've had some reason last game to target him for turning? Anyway, whether they can or can't I feel it's important for as many people to say that they'd use BS - I've yet to hear a convincing argument against it...depending on how the results are announced. Any pointers as to that one Yvonne? And, just to help the real cop hide (at least I think it does)...if I was the cop I'd use BS. That'll do me - I'd definitely use BS. Am I right in thinking that we could have a scenario where the cop doesn't actually get his investigation to happen due to missing the end-of-night deadline?
