The VAR referee was the same wee tadger that thought Boyce getting studded in the chest wasn’t a pen at Motherwell. So it wouldn’t have really mattered if he looked at it.

For me it was a penalty all day. Would like to see diff angles if there are any, but looks like his left foot git clipped.

Just watched it as sent on my phone.

The club needs to get ripped into the SFA .

I assumed when it wasn't given at first it was just gonna be pulled back, but have to wonder if the ref didn't want to look a tit for booking him 🤔. Get these ****ers mic'd up.

It's not even Forest playacting.

And the County players crowding over him.

That decision changed the flow.

The club really need to call a meeting with referees .

How fekin many decisions .

He has a clear agenda against us. I hope someone at Hearts is making sure this is raised.

Publically preferably.

The commentators mentioned that the replay angles showed no clear conclusive contact was made…….don't know if there were any other replay angles which may have been clearer though 🤷‍♂️

Time for a formal complaint.

That was shocking. Same prick now responsible for denying us 2 stone wallers. Club needs to stand up for itself here.

Forest wouldn't have gone to ground without there being contact.

His touch was good and he was tapping that into the net.

The goalkeepers clipped the rear foot and taken his balance away.

Penalty.

Thats the way I saw it. I don’t think it was a penalty or a dive.

Captain Sausage

Watching it live I couldn’t see definitive contact but If you watch the clip above, the second angle clearly shows the keeper making contact with Forrest’s planted ankle.

That is a shocker.

Is it really the same VAR ref that ‘missed’ the kung Foo kick on Boyce vs Motherwell??

In these instances, there doesn’t have to be definite contact for it to be a foul. If Forrest has had to hurdle a reckless challenge by the keeper to avoid a serious injury and loses his balance it’s still a penalty. If that happens anywhere else of the park it’s a foul.

Why do we keep getting ****ed over this season?

It is a joke that wrong calls are still happening. Just get rid of VAR as it’s just the same clueless clowns using it

We need specialised VAR officials. In the same way we have linesman.

That, I'm sorry to say was totally unnacceptable. I was certain VAR would correct it too.

Munro needs to lose his job, inept referee. Club needs to grow a pair and call him out.

Because we're not standing up for ourselves. Club is a soft touch so refs know "Mistakes don't matter". If its Rangers or Celtic, they give the pen and let VAR correct them.

Hearts need to be issuing a statement about this to the media and going full Liverpool.

It is a farce that we’ve spent the money as a nation to implement this technology, only for incompetent Glaswegian clowns to fail to use it effectively

Who’s the var official? Needs to be sacked and replaced. Someone else given the opportunity. Needs public accountability and consequences for failure

I should have used didn’t instead of don’t. On Hearts TV it didn’t look like there was contact. I’m more than happy to be wrong.

Tom English has just ripped into the Ref and VAR for not awarding the penalty in the strongest of terms. I think vAr defended the ref there he had already given the yellow it was going to be a very humbling desicsion .

Compare to penalty that Rangers awarded v Livingston. McCausland barely touched but ref immediately gave it and VAR refused to overrule.

This one, as on league cup semi, ref instantly gets card out and unlike the cup game, the dick on VAR refused to correct the pathetic decision.

100% guaranteed that would be a penalty for Celtic/Rangers.

Don't think anybody can dispute that the purpose of VAR in Scotland is to ensure Celtic and Rangers are awarded a penalty for any 50/50 challenges in box.

After that, they don't have a clue.

Clear Pen without any shadow of doubt, we are being done this season with desicions. Some shocking performances by the SFA at Tynecastle this season can't remember going to a game this year and not coming away gobsmacked at the state of the official's.

When incompetent, biased officials get asked to check the failures of their incompetent, biased colleagues...sadly VAR, as implemmented by the SFA, is mere lip-service to progress, technology and fairness.

So if it didn't show one way or the other conclusively, then why the booking?

Cochrane near the end as well, at full tilt, clipped.

But no foul or booking for diving.

Bent or incompetent.

No other explanation.

How is that not a penalty, why would he dive in that situation ?

Exactly, where is the logic of a player beating the keeper then taking a dive?

We need professional full time refs. Too many times we see refs come to Tynecastle and just not give a ****. There's no jeopardy for them, they **** up and continue on with no repercussions (at least none them we're made aware of)

The Cochrane one was just ridiculous,  how he never gave that as a foul I'll never know.

For me there was also a clear two handed shove in the back of Halkett that should have been given, they break up field and end up scoring from the free kick

Or was it the first, can't remember but clear penalty

First I think. I thought that was a shove too.

If VAR was operated properly and penalties given or not given as should have been….. would Hearts be above rangers?

not saying we are a better side than rangers, but the second place battle would be a lot closer with fair officiating.
