We all know what is wrong and if saying they are the good guys keeps us on the right side of dodgy decisions then fine. Don't pay for premium so can't really see what he is saying, just the headline! https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/hearts/hearts-steven-naismith-calls-for-var-patience-and-tells-clubs-with-agendas-to-stop-throwing-mud-at-the-system-4522244 Here is the full article https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/hearts/two-hearts-players-drop-out-ahead-of-motherwell-match-as-steven-naismith-backs-var-despite-errors-4522070 About rime folk acknowledged this. Even at amateur level, shouting and slagging at the ref gains nothing. Being respectful and nice, especially if the other side are rabid, slavering goons that scream at the ref was far more productive. Nice change of tactics. Change would have to be voted through. As we know to our cost, celtic have other chairmen to keep their agenda looked after. If its any consolation, I'm an occasional sufferer too. 🙄
Sooperstar
Newcastle were awarded a penalty yesterday for a pull on the shirt of a player as a free kick was played into the box. The fouled player was in an offside position and the on-field decision was offside. VAR then got involved and decided he hadn't yet had the opportunity to commit an offside offence so, after 5 minutes of looking at the incident, the decision was to give a penalty.
