A stroll to the Piemaker in South Bridge Street.

Greggs stuff is the pits especially the sausage rolls.

Tattie dogs are tremendous from Pie Maker.

Sasuage, Bean and cheese melt.

Steak Bake

Chicken Pastie

All of this is usually eaten in my car with a hangover.

The Jazz Emu

Are these ‘good to go’ bags not just Greggy getting shot of his unpopular items?

The new place at Hunter square, Mor Bakehouse is good, bit more expensive but worth it, would recommend the Black pepper Cornish pasty

Kind of, but they're meant to keep a fairly full inventory until closing. Some stores are generally amazing value, some not so much.

Tim Horton's seem to use it as a taster, you get 4 mixed donuts and a box of them timbits for about £4

Pie Hipsters. Good name for a band.

Go on then, Chicken Bake for me.

Changed the recipe and the name about 15 years ago. Used to be called a Chicken Pasty amd taste about 1,000x better. I used to love them, but overnight went off them.

Can't go wrong with a sausage roll though.

Just to remind everyone though, the heir to the Gregg's fortune is a convicted paedophile, jailed in 2017 for beasting laddies while he was a headmaster.

Do Greggs still sell rolls? I used to hate queuing in the mornings years ago while the blue rinse brigade fannied around looking for their smash to pay for a sliced loaf or morning rolls.

I absolutely loved a steak bake on one of their buttered rolls then a white iced doughnut.

who ever invented Cornish pasty’s deserve a slap.

If there was a single group of people I would avoid slapping at all costs, it's miners' wives.

Bunch of Hyacinth Buckets.

Be a bunch of lying gits into the bargain. I've no doubt they'll be nipping into Greggs from time to time. No like they'll be on a wee domestic jaunt and decide to nip back to one particular pie shop in the old town of Edinburgh...

How Greggs is so wildly popular is a mystery I can’t think of anything I really like in there other than their tomato soup. Their bacon and sausage morning rolls are absolute muck🤮
Baynes baker id rather use. Their chocolate eclairs are well nice.
Like their bridies and spicy chicken savouries.

Our boss likes to "treat" us to a greggs, every single time i'm like " oh ffs, what can i get that's not utter shite".

I like their sausage rolls, buck feck eating those things all the time.

So yeah, i usually get something random that involves chicken and salad, the Mexican flat bread has been far better than anything else.

I thought the same about their Chicken & Vegetable soup, zero chicken, and it tasted like watery cabbage.
