They've gone right back to the pre 2015 Hibs with an unbelievably soft underbelly, signing random folk & just hoping that one of them might make the grade. We meanwhile do so much more research to make sure the guys we bring in are adding something not just on the park but in the dressing room as well. They've always had Stevenson, McGregor & Hanlon to fall back on as the defensive spine when they go into a rut & just need some stability & experience during a rebuild over the last 7/8 years or so, they've tapped that well completely dry now. Genuinely embarrassing that these guys are still even at the club at this stage, they gave their fans the best day of their lives in 2016 and will always be held in high regard with the support for that reason rightfully so, but they should have been replaced a long time ago if hibs had any ambition of progressing. They're circling the drain and they don't seem to have a short or long term plan to save themselves. Can't imagine that's an environment many professional players would willingly put themselves in. Which is quite funny He has not played a single minute of first team football this season, think he has been providing experience to their reserve team. You have to imagine Lee Johnson will be banging his head against the wall as the club sell his best defender and best attacker at the same time. They have brought 1 player in who was another midfielder (who replaced a midfielder who they thought would be amazing but failed.) They really need 2 centre backs, a goal scoring striker, a new full back, another creative attacking player and they have 5 days to do it. Saw a tweet earlier today that said if Aberdeen cant beat Hibs tomorrow with all Hibs players go, they shouldn't sack Goodwin, they should just close down the club. If I was their goalkeeping coach (do they have such a thing?) I’d be looking very closely at his role in the goals both Humphrys and Sibbick have scored against them recently.
