All roads lead to Gorgie

Scotland need to keep focused. Most likely expecting to be a man up. There you go, sluggish by Scotland.

Sorry but sport is being ruined by all this video reviewing and bunker nonsense. That was a Red card end of.

If ref had reviewed it, would have been a red card. No question.

Disgraceful that Tonga back up to 15. How the **** can that be justified when it was so blatant.

No way would he be back on against Ireland/England or the rest of world rugby's pet teams.

Two red cards not awarded against our opponents now

It's routine for a ball carrier to lower his head into contact.  It's not mitigation for the tackler when there's clear sight.  Tackler sees the player might lower his head? Just turn the shoulder and smash him.

Instead of being comfortable against 14, world rugby give order to keep 15 on park for plucky Tonga.

Absolutely pointless playing in matches when officials pick and choose what teams they want to progress.

Two games for Scotland, two blatant red cards not given for head tackles on our players.

We haven't got started this half

Townsend gave them the gameplan for playing against 14 men for rest of the game, as everyone barring one guy in a room in Paris thought it would be.

And that's exactly what he did.

As soon as we are out, can forget watching the rest of tournament. Will be decided by officials and refs who pick and choose who they want to win.

Tuipolotu is having a good game after being quiet in the last game. Also I only discovered last week he doesn’t play for Scotland based on residency but on the fact he has a Scottish grannie!!

Portugal vs Georgia was better for accuracy.  We're going to get savaged by Ireland.

Few head high tackles by Ireland with ref ignoring will set the standard. We are 5th in world rankings and get treated like shit by officials

Did you hear that prick of a commentator? Remote possibility that South Africa, Ireland and Scotland get 15 points. All we need is fair ref and an 80 minute performance. Ireland are good but not unbeatable

His grannie supposedly had a lot to do with raising him in Australia, and he said he was proud to represent Scotland because of that

I suppose if some people are buying the logic that the ref favoured Ireland with a key decision, maybe they'll see gifting a free try to South Africa as some kind of balance.   :whistling:

I'm here to provide balance.

As always, the voice of reason :D

Not one I’ve ever heard used.

I think in South Africa that's how it's said, I've heard a couple of Scotland players refer to him as that in interviews.

We are screwing up so many chances. Points could be important in this tournament.

It might be an okay result with the physicality of Tonga.

But should have scored 4 more tries last 15 minutes which would have put us in decent position.

Tonga are dirty barstewards and the officials are just allowing it to happen.

Yep, all excused by they're playing with passion. This referee has done nothing to stop dangerous play, in fact he has encouraged it with his attitude.

So the ref has completely ignored the Tonga scrum either collapsing or disintegrating during the entire second half and chooses to penalise Scotland when it disintegrates yet again. WTF.
