Malinga the Swinga

That's 8 or 9 penalties in second half, all for England.

While Argentina are utter pish, ref is comedy gold didn't want to send Curry off, was forced into it, and has simply decided that he will only give decisions one way.

I get how you feel, but you simply have to admit that the four most significant words of your post are the ones I've highlighted.  No offence, but you know it's true.

One or two, and it sends a mental wobble through a group.  I've been that soldier, and it is ****ing awful when it happens.

No, refs have been told to give yellows and let bunker decide red.

Yep, white line fever as Argentina fail to score. It's so easy. Draw your man and pass it on. You have 1 extra you bunch of ****wits.

Jesus. A bit of rugby broke out there in that Argentina attack.

I just got a WhatsApp from the only rugby playing member of my family saying a combination of these two posts.  :th_Rage2:

Definitely.

A chance to make it a turning point. They are still in the tournament.

None of these Argentinians deserve any gash tonight. Wonder if ref can go whole second half without penalising England.

Hopefully.  Live and learn, that's the golden rule.

My head is blown already with just how shite Argentina have been.

Looks like commentators have already awarded England trophy anyway

You're giving England a massive compliment. Their discipline improved massively tonight. Nothing since the red card.

Woo hoo, 31 minutes, 40 seconds and ref penalises England.

Ref pings them straight away though

Well that and ref refusing to penalise them even when they drop ball and it goes forward.

**** off Ulysses, you fool - Argentina are 18 points behind - and 21 of those are their own fault.

You really don't get it, do you?

Meanwhile over at the BBC -

Matt Dawson

Former England scrum-half on BBC Radio 5 Live

Owen Farrell sitting in the stand thinking how am I going to get in that team?

This is the most organised decisive England side we have seen in recent months.

But then "Stephen" manages to top it -

Hands down the most impressive performance by any team so far in the World Cup...

I have given up as England player runs into guy jumping and England get penalty again

It's a one sided win over worst Argentinian team I have seen, refereed by a myopic cheating ***** and commentated on by a selection of people who you would never tire of smashing with a baseball bat to their faces.

All in all, a poor night.

Argentina have been extraordinarily disappointing.  Even that try is like a parody.

"This has been England at their big hearted best" their "best performance" since Borthwick took over.

How low is the bar these days.

England's defence has been solid but hardly tested to any extent from an utterly woeful Argentina and a poor one-sided ref .

To say this is a sign of England expects being back on track is dislusional.

Congratulations to England on winning the World Cup tonight.

😂

They will get ragdolled by almost any half decent side.

Argentina were brutal, England back to the 90's. Eye bleeding stuff. The commentators jus made it worse, jingoism at its highest level, we and us and they actually believe that England were brilliant. Upper class, George Cross waving jingoistic twats, had enough off that. Switching over to The Proms😮
