This will be a stinker I think - Livingston are 2nd in terms in form, Hearts are 11th.

Won’t even try and predict the score, just hope for a win here.

That'll include the two games v Zurich and away at Celtic.

Not exactly like for like.

In our last five spl games we have won 3 drawn 1 and lost 1. Livi have won 2 lost 3. They lost last weekend (as well as the weekend before) and we won then we both got put out of the cup at home.

Admittedly Livi didn’t lose their European ties.

Zurich x2 and at parkhead and a lc game that we generally chuck.

Be tough tho, could go either way.

We'll need to be stronger and more clinical.

I'll go 2-2.

Or 3-6.

Any pubs nearby the centre / ground that will be showing the old firm match?

Know there is a pub in the centre that used to show football but think it’s now a spoons

There is the paraffin lamp inside the main centre that will be showing it. Not the McArthur glen centre. There is a weather spoons but no football

I dont know if the Livingston Inn shows football but any option is better than the paraffin lamp. Ten mins walk from the ground.

Aye the Livi Inn does show it. Granted the para lamp requires a crash helmet 😏

Surely a magnet for H1b5 & Celtic fans when they're in town (Cockney Rhyming Slang)?

Dunno where you’re pulling that stat from? Hearts being 3rd after 5 games & Livi being 7th would suggest otherwise..

😅, Believe it is a bit Celtic at the best of times.

I can’t call this one given our game against Killie at home. If we can somehow take our chances we will win. Gonna plump for 1-2 Hearts win.

Don't risk players carrying injuries. But don't "rest" players for Europe. League is the No 1 priority. If we treat it as such every chance we win and possibly go second in the league.

(The bit about resting players applies to every league game but for a game fully 5 days before a home European tie resting players would be particularly indefensible.)

I cant see us keeping a clean sheet so we’ll need to score a couple at the very least.

Got a horrible feeling it’ll be a draw or loss.

Yep sounds like rubbish to me. Livy have lost their last 3 games, including a 5-0 drubbing from Aberdeen last week. Think someone thought they could put stats in there, to back up a contention, without people checking

Mmm, I hate when you predict a defeat you are often right except when you are wrong.

You could be right.

I'm going 2-2.

Celtic hump rangers by 5, we win by 3.

2nd place is ours.

Thrash them 5 nil.  2nd place.  8 ahead of Hibs.  Start of a good month compared to most of August despite the injuries.

Why not? Nothing like a couple wines to boost the confidence.

Always Hearts.

I think this will be a horrible game to watch. Livi in our faces, us struggling in the final 3rd. Noublie ragdolling Sibbick or Neilson.

1 point is the most we will get today, more tantrums on here.

Turns out it's my mistake, I glanced the SPFL's post and mistook the Dumbarton badge for Livingston's, my brain didn't figure the SPFL would include all of the Scottish league's teams in the chart - can't edit the post as I've left it too long

Hope we can get the ball down and get at them from the start with sharp passing at pace, if they get any sort of momentum our defence will have a tough time. I expect them to go route one and look to win the second balls while trying to capitalise on our lack of aggression at the back.

Having said that..... 4-0 The Famous

Humphrey will be in the middle as a number 10, I think. That's where we need him anyway.

Always hated the " It's a tough place to go" phrase since Rix used it as his pre match excuse before every away game. At a time when knew nothing whatsoever about Scottish football. (Not that he ever learnt anything about it)

I ****ing hope not.  Especially as Rowles probably can’t even walk at the moment.
