Bootzilla
Given the players at our disposal would have been best sticking with a back 4 - was pleased to see starting like that today. SectionDJambo
It was the missed chances that cost us. Any opposition are liable to get one good chance to equalise a one goal lead. We really should have been 2 up.

I think we were sitting back to stop Boyle running in behind. The problem wasn't so much the sitting back as up until the goal we were dealing with everything comfortably but we'd left ourselves with nothing up the pitch, Hibs were committing everyone forward and we should have had Henderson or Ginnelly on to exploit the space they were leaving. County and Hibs we should be scoring more than 3 and conceding less than 2. Relegation fodder sides at best. Have a word. 4/6 points. Very frustratingly not 6/6. We will look decent and will only improve. They were massively outclassed most the game. Barely laid a glove other than one header and a few decent crosses. Hearts were very, very wasteful and it felt like we stopped trying about the 50th minute. We are miles better than Hibernian. And you are wrong about County. They are looking decent. Hibs chased the game until the end and got their reward for it. We didn't take our chances and got punished for it. He's only getting stick because we were playing well and another goal or two for us looked on the cards then for no apparent reason he decided one was enough and threw on all the defensive players and sat back. Top marks if it had worked, it didn't. We move on to the next one though 👍 Edited August 7, 2022 by Taffin

boag1874
Halliday should just foul him as soon as he tries to turn & Sibbick was just terrible on the front post.
