Tifo - Drew Busby

The minute silence will be pre kick off as per every other minute silence. Players will come out, do their usual handshake, photo thing and then gather at the centre circle for a minutes silence. The club have prepared a few words for Drew Busby and then the ref will blow for the minutes silence. When the players gather we can start holding up the tifo.

They are usually just before kick-off.

I can't see this one being any different.

Thanks. 👍

That's good. I was only concerned that if it was other than that then the tifo stuff might go awry. It's going to be poignant. Well done for all of your efforts.

Buy a programme too.

Wish they would use Heart of Midlothian instead of Hearts though, cracking picture of Drew Busby 👌🏻

What an emotional day this is going to be. I just hope the team do the business on the pitch in memory of this absolute legend. I will be in bits. #hisnameisDrewBusby

It took 30 folk around 6 hours to do Hampden 😂 let’s hope it’s half that time for half the space. We have the boy from the tifo company helping us lay it all out and get it in the right place.

The Wrinkly Ninja

Should look great from section N. Great tribute and hope the family can take away the everlasting depth of feeling that the Hearts support hold regardless of how previous regimes treated players.

Well done to everyone concerned, fantastic effort, a fitting tribute

a wee side note, can people take there piece of Tifo and dispose of it accordingly, don’t leave it all to the Hearts staff to clean up afterwards

For the 'younger' fans among us, in the case of a little rendition tomorrow is it 'talk' or 'cock'?. Seen both but always sung or said talk when referencing the song.

I’ve always sung cock o the north. See below

Where does the saying Cock of the North come from?

'The Cock O' the North' is very old tune, first written down over 300 years ago, when it was called 'Jumping Joan'. As a pipe tune it is the regimental march of the Gordon Highlanders, because the Duke of Gordon was so powerful in the North East of Scotland that he was known as the Cock of the North.

Looked fantastic from my seat in the main stand.

A fitting tribute to an absolute legend.

Minutes silence also perfectly observed.

Thanks to the County fans for their respect.

Theme From Sparta F.C.

Thanks to everyone for setting up that wonderful tribute to Drew.

He was my favourite player when i was a kid.

I'm glad that i was in the Wheatfield today. It didn't seem as emotional being under the tifo to what it would've been like viewing it from the other Stands.

All the pictures of the tifo are superb. 👍

Thanks to everyone who helped set it up and who made it happen. I know Drew’s family

were at the game today so hopefully it helped put a smile on their faces during a terrible time for them.

Looked good from the photos I’ve seen

how do you work out which seats to put the different colours in to make it work?

Ann is very good at computers so it would be very easy for her to work it out.

Nice display and tribute to one of my favourites.

But why and when did card displays and (big) flag displays become tifos?

Tifo is the Italian word for fan. If that helps.
