No.

Market decides wages paid.

If you want to change that system be my guest .See how socialist countries reward their workers.Im all for fair pay.Right now their industry doesn't warrant that and that doesn't mean I agree with the top heavy management pay.

I'm not a tory I'm conservative .

And the market dictated it was worth paying these people more.

It isn't the fault of the middle class that the elite are ****ing the working class.

No anger.

Just a different point of view.

The money to fund this doesn't come from profit it comes from either tax hikes or cuts to other services.

What's your preference?

Do you know for a fact it comes from tax hikes or cuts to services ?

Anyone tell me which of our European counterparts pay the same?

Given that in general you get a far superior service on the continent.

You only backtracked because you seek approval from a certain politic on here. You were well aware the decent dough they were on and the cost to the SG.You only backtracked when London was involved.

As for your elite nonsense.Change the system not who runs it there is not one Socialist economy that benefits its workers.

Again I don't.

Answer the question  where does the SG fund this from .An industry that doesn't turn a coin that's at least 100% dearer to use than a car that has shown a total disregard for it customers as they try to get back to work.

So regardless of your views on me please I'd like to know where are these wage rises to an already well above average paid workforce to come from?

I don’t give a shiny shite where it’s funded from.

It’s a service that’s needed.

What do you work at and what is your salary?

And there's the bottom line.

It has to come from somewhere.

Enjoy the fairy dream land of socialism .

You didn't give a shiny shite so don't get all arsey and say answer the question when all you could do to answer mine was spraff shite.

But last year I earned 50 grand .

Which was more than usual due to overtime

I don't expect you to pay more tax to cover it and I don't expect some worse of to go without to cover.

My company just kept going.

Don't make money can't afford to pay.

Get over it.

So just you answer the question tax hikes or services cut?

Nope, I backtracked because I'm from a line of union men and I realised I was wrong, and influenced by how poorly people in my situation are treated.

We should all be living comfortable lives, a meagre Universal Credit doesn't change that.

i wish jj was my dad

I'm not massively sympathetic to this particular cause but a payrise which is about half the level of inflation hardly feels like a massive cave in to the unions.

We need to maintain public services and the public sector in general hasn't done well out of the last 10 years. If this is what is negotiated across other sectors it seems equitable enough to me.

Aye Barry.

So tell me what other services take the hit or do we all just pay more tax while they get 400 quid for a rest day plus other extended benefits.

Homeless take the hit Social services ?

Or do we think that msp expenses covers this ?

Next up nurse police other essential services.

Don't greet about no money when it's going to an extended workforce that's not turning a coin .

So just you answer the question tax hikes or services cut?

So why get upset about rail worker getting a good wage?

Considering you seem to have a reasonable wage.

No tax hikes or service cuts.

He's pretty angry for a guy doing so well, you have to wonder why he can't just appreciate what he's got. You know, like he's expecting others to do.

If we close off a few of the loopholes that allow filthy rich people to avoid paying tax we might create a little headroom.

We won't though.
