2.45pm count - 5 hours to go - we've got 258 left in the Roseburn, plus circa 200 ex-hospitality in the upper rows of X in the Gorgie.

Notwithstanding all that's been said on here, we'll have 1,000+ more Hearts fans at the game than we would have had if the whole of the Roseburn had been given over to Celtic (and 2,000 less Celtic fans).

15:30 4 hrs 15 mins to go

Good luck to the stewards asking them to see their vaccine passports, and for the rest of the night also.

They need more than a vaccine passport,  they also need  a health and  personal hygiene passport  Manky c****.

I've been to plenty gigs at places like the hydro in Glasgow where as a smoker I need to scan in and out each time, times where i've not scanned out and tried to get back in i've been forced back to the main entrance to re-validate my ticket either with photo ID or showing email receipt/confirmation etc on my phone, technology to properly control it is there but the only reason I can see is Police Scotland not wanting hundreds of the tramps kicking off outside the stadium

This is the crux of it. The police could, if they chose to, flood the back of the roseburn and mcleod street with hundreds of police, riot cops, horses etc - but will manage the situation and minimise any action on their part. Easier for them to herd the unwashed and deal with isolated incidents than have to handle a few hundred kicking off.

Exactly ,we're not here to do any one favours, especially them !  GTF back to yer hovels👈

Think the only exception would be Hibs. Although there is a fair argument to not and seeing what they do. I’m not sure if Ron would turn down the cash tbh and if it hands us an additional home advantage…

History shows that’s not how they deal with them, observe them committing crimes and arrest a few at a later date.

You are excluding a lot of people then.

Certainly that would make a full Roseburn a certainty.

How is that? I’ve never met a hearts fan who doesn’t know someone who has a season ticket, or maybe a pledger to the FOH then, I get it might rule some visitors to the city out but the club could still work something out for them to attend games

Nah the derbys different, seeing the roseburn empty as they scuttle off back to their crusty bedsheets in their Parents/Siblings loft post pumping will never get old

Think it’s safe to say a few Celtic fans were in the roseburn. Looks a few of them ended up with sore faces.

Seemed like there was something happening, every 5 minute in the roseburn,,,they should live and learn, but won't🇱🇻

Was enjoyable to see a couple of Tic fans escorted out of Section P very early in the game.

Appreciate their financial contributions to the club.

Was sitting in the roseburn, there were 4 in particular sitting several rows in front of me that were politely asked to leave , I did see a few punches thrown at them as they were "escorted" out

whoever sorted them the tickets should also have to explain themselves at very least.

No it isn’t pointless. Even if we only sell 1,000 in the Roseburn then that’s Hearts fans in attendance that wouldn’t have had the opportunity to be there. Celtic are getting around 1,400 so at worst the Roseburn will be just over 1,000 short of capacity. Monetary wise £25-£30K. Well worth it.

Correct, there are lots of Hearts fans who would miss out if the whole Roseburn was given to Celtic fans.

Does anyone know if the Police could demand Celtic get the full stand due to the issues last night? It’s the Celtic fans fault for going in the home end but from a police perspective it would be easier to manage one full stand of them.

I guess my Q is - Can they demand that we do that or can have the same half and half again? Thought the atmosphere was superb.

I'd say no they can't.

Should be entirely at the clubs discretion and the police should do an better job of policing the situation. Still don’t understand why you’d rather sit in the oppositions end rather than watching it in a pub.

I would say they could ask, gently or otherwise due to crowd safety that the club reviews their ticketing policy.  Not that may ever solve the problem.

Setting up new accounts, buying one other ticket for a random Hearts game and then being able to then purchase Celtic/Rangers ones has always been seen as a no no but our system remains the same.  I think that is how it works.  Also any Hearts fans buying tickets for use by OF supporters should be identified and given a short ban in my view.

Why?   Their fans also infiltrate the other stands when they have the full rose burn. It's up to hearts fans to buy the tickets

If you only needed a purchase history (1 loyalty point?) to buy a ticket in the home end last night, it probably shows we should be upping it to minimum of 5 or 10 loyalty points.

Of course it is, totally agree with that however if OF fans have created accounts does it not come down to first come first served when buying any ticket at home?  If the Police understand that they could raise it as an issue, that is all the poster asked.  Could the Police intervene in this problem?

Is certainly one option.  I wonder why the club have not done that for OF games?  I seem to remember going to ICT one year and we had to create an account with them to get a ticket, cannot remember why it was done that way but I still have that account.  I used it when going to a ICT game in the home end when I was up there on holiday so I could watch a game.   Point being they run the same, or did run the same system as us.
