It's a daft song sung by daft boys. Is it really worth getting hot and bothered about?

Aye it is as it does nothing for our game or society, and the majority don't want it.

What has sectarian songs got to with our game?

It is an embarrassment to any reasonable fan.

Why not just sing about the team or how you hate other teams without the trimmings?

Maybe just a daft song to you but to the vast majority of non old firm fans it is unacceptable.

I'd rather they didn't sing it but the state some of the pant wetters get themselves into over a song is unbelievable.

Just thought I’d mention ……”hello, hello etc..” was belted out at the RC game on more than 1 occasion by our fans.

Indeed it was sung but hardly belted out. Compared to Hearts songs that were sung it was obvious it was a minority singing that bigoted shite. Maybe, just maybe, fans are getting the message

It's not just about a song in a football ground.  You don't get that?

Why sing songs about hating how someone else goes about their faith at a game?

That's not pant wetting, it's getting rid of ignorance and hate.

It might not bother you but it does the vast majority on here.

It’s one of those things where folk are singing it as much to wind up their own fans as anything else.

Perhaps completely ignoring them will finally finish it off…or perhaps that will encourage them to sing worse 🤷‍♂️

Well do something about it instead of greeting on a forum about it. Sorry if I don't get upset over a song but you crack on and deal with it.

It's what the songs are about.  Do you think it's because they are shite tunes?

Posters on here have said it keeps them and their kids away from Tynecastle and you're not bothered if Hearts fans are missing games when they wouldn't if those songs weren't sung?

Maybe we care about Hearts fans staying away more than you do.

Pant wetting or wanting more Hearts fans at these games?

I've already said keeping your kids away because of a song is utterly pathetic. They'll hear worse in the school playground and when out with their mates. Ffs grow a spine.

I really think it's you who needs to grow up if you're offended by a song. You're probably the typically offended type though, will do nothing to challenge it at the time but can't wait to get home to post on a forum about how outraged you are.

Grow a spine?

You said do something about it.

I'd like to advocate that with FOH now owning the club that there should be a lifetime ban for anyone caught singing one sectarian song.

If fans who agree with this all write to them, is does that satisfy you regarding doing something.

How do you know what kids are hearing in playground..?

If you aren't bothered that it's keeping fans and their kids away, then you are foolish and juvenile about this issue

Lifetime ban should sort it out.

Go to ibrox or Parkhead if it doesn't bother you.

You are in ths minority here you naughty rascal...

You want hearts fans to confront others at a game and I've to grow up?

Typically offended type?  You know **** all about me but are judging how I am because I don't want sectarianism at Hearts games?

Juvenile

I know what kids hear and say in the playground because I work in a school. I've also raised two children of my own so I have a fair idea what kids can come out with. Is that enough?

Maybe you should go to a knitting club or the womens guild instead of football. It sounds more up your street.

Songs that can also offend hearts players and it's ok?

So if a song is sung by daft boys it's not worth bothering about?

Should be OK to get some of the more "colourful" songs back then about black folk?

Get the Edinburgh is wonderful song blasting out from the stands at Tynecastle, that covers relegion and race.

After all, it's just daft songs by daft laddies, eh?

Everytime there's a rangers bashing thread you're all over it defending them and trying to Deflect to celtic and Scottish independence.

Howling, you really need to get the bus fare.

You can then join all the daft ladies and thier daft songs and have a cracking time.

Where have I endorsed the songs? I said they don’t bother me and they never will. Just you stick to wanting Hibs to win the cup and ignoring my question about why not liking Robbie Neilson's style of management is personal.👍

And yet the only fans who seem to wreck Tynecastle and abuse kiosk staff and ballboys are Celtic supporters. 🤔

I suspect that has something to do with another conversation on this thread, i.e. the singing of anti-Catholic songs by a section of the Hearts support.

Sadly, the notion of HMFC as “Diet Huns” has become embedded, and some of our fans do little to disprove that notion.
That in no way excuses the mindless vandalism and anti-social behaviour of the Celtic neds whose twisted logic sees these actions as a legitimate response.

You can sing daft songs, with daft laddies, joke about it, make up shite about catholics, the snp and Scottish independence and even get to fly a wee unnnaan jack about.

You'll love it.

You'll enjoy it, you really will.
