They're not so great when they are not getting their usual dodgy decisions from the corrupt officials.

They have been made to look very ordinary tonight by a team that is far better than any other side in Scotland.

They're a 'separate entity' from European class. 😏

Don’t normally care for an Ange post match interview. Might see it through tonight.

:pleasing:

Lots of not looking the interviewer in the eye and passive aggression ahoy.

I enjoyed that. Sutton was quiet. No doubt

Despite it being Celtic he's been a welcome breath of fresh air.

All these amazing players that Celtic have brought in are really bang average when they come up against a team that are not beaten before they start

You're final point is inspired.

When will we learn that?

Neutral refs would help but that's the main point.

Does that mean the Tim's drop to the Eurovision song contest?

No Republican songs allowed there.

About time a Scottish team brought a bit of respect back for the Scottish game by taking a big scalp from a tier 1 nation.

As for Celtic getting cuffed at home, delighted.

They're a ****ing stinking lot.

Even their own board had to remind them about hygiene when coming to games.

This in spades

they moan like **** about European officials and that’s the reason they get beat the reason they moan is because the euro officials don’t give them the decisions that domestic referees do when it’s a level playing field that’s when they get shown up for what they really are

Two things that stood out in the Celtic game.

Bodo - all players clearly talented but no real stars, the biggest thing they have is composure and will to win, not turning up to get photos for their Instagram.

Secondly- the ref, actually reffed the game properly, didn't bow down to the angry unwashed with dodgy decisions every time a challenge was made.

Their manager is going to get a top, top job.

Would ruin his cred, he is better continuing where he is .

Not if he goes down the Brighton managers route.

It is hard to re produce success, would he get the same support.

Brentford may suit him.

I know that Bodo/Glimt are an exception, but their budget isn't that much higher than ours. If there is a 'mythical next level' for teams like Hearts to aim for, they're proof of it being possible. They're in pre-season and they still went to Glasgow and battered a good Celtic team FFS

That's a great point, they went there with a fraction of Celtic's budget without any fear and just took them on when in pre season and without any competitive games under their belt since early December, and proved it can be done, but somehow we have a mental block about budget and being inferior.

Hate to be a cynic, but we also have to face referees who have a pro-OF bias. European teams don't. It can be debilitating when you play against the OF knowing that they will get the lion's share of the decisions, particularly if we are playing well. That is where the mental block may lie.

We need better players.

Not too much difference in how they played. But had the better quality.

2 excellent points, which is more than we've taken from Glasgow this season!

Super game to watch, as said not a team of individuals , pass , pass , pass. Gives other teams hope . The Glasgow Two   Do not run away with it , considering there budget.
Hard Hat . Gers did good.

Bodo/Glimt are no mugs, a well drilled machine with a fantastic manager, anyone thinking this would be an easy Celtic win hadn’t done their homework (BT Sport pundits). They won the league in record breaking fashion in 2020, lost some key players, replaced them then topped their European group unbeaten, skudded Mourinho’s Roma 6-1 in the process & won the league again for good measure. Pre season or not that’s not a team to take lightly & I can’t see Celtic having a hope in hell of going over there (literally to the Arctic) & mounting a comeback.

Hate to praise Rangers but will begrudgingly admit that they were really impressive last night.

Both good games tbh, some excellent goals in there.
