I mean at least on this im willing to listen to why he is the ultimate team player and not a good player to preferably have when you are struggling to create or score as a team. I didn't want him back after last time.

Hands up I was wrong, reasonable wage, big goal bonus, 1 year deal.

I’m sure I’ve heard Mark Donaldson said that RN had the chance to bring him back to Tynecastle before he joined Kilmarnock but RN doesn’t rate him....

Makes zero sense IMO

Doesnt like him

Doesn’t want the accompanying hassle. Fair do’s

What’s not to rate? He’s a goal scorer.

That sort of language used by @XB52 is what holds this country back.

Correct. The word "hun" should be banned and does this board no favours at all.

I have no problem with calling a hun a hun, in fact I especially like that fans of the rangers hate it and pretend it's sectarian.

It’s discriminatory plain and simple. You can’t claim tolerance then demonstrate intolerance.

all players, regardless of race, religion or politics are welcome at hearts .

Bigoted fans who occupy either side of the same filthy arse can **** off

You don’t think the term “hun” has broader meaning than being a rangers fan? Maybe you are not a bigot then. Not the sharpest but maybe not a bigot

ps I’m not interested in having a debate on the actual meaning, clear as day it is used as a derogatory term for rangers fans, prodestants and people who rightly or wrongly value their British identity.

it’s unacceptable imo.

I'm only ever talking about dirty rangers *******s when I say Hun, glad I could clarify.

Look up OFCOM's ruling on the subject - Hun is officially not a sectarian term, it's just a squeal that they and their sympathisers go to.

It's an unpleasant nickname but so what? Why would anything else be expected for a rival team?

Not that fussed to be honest, he'll be 34 come the new season... plus having him and Halliday constantly kissing Rangers' arse would be irritating.

Focus on younger players please.

Correct answer couple of posts in. No from me also

as I said, not interested in the official definition . In everyday life in Scotland it’s clear as day the context in which it is used.

I just don’t like it and don’t think it should be used any more than the equivalent words

just my opinion

It only refers to dirty rangers *******s among the people I know, I don't know what to tell you.

I really like it though, it annoys the hun beautifully. Why would any hearts fan have a problem with using a non sectarian term that annoys rival fans?

Yup. Hun means nothing more than Rangers fan to me. They could be a Catholic, Jewish or Buddhist hun, as long as they follow Rangers they're a hun.

see earlier , and no I’m not interested in playing that game.

I think everyone on here knows the broader definition official or not, whether you agree with it or whether those using it mean it that way only they will know.

Could be he doesn’t rate him as part of a balanced team. If that makes sense. Off the bench as a game changer possibly , that imo is overstating what he is good at though. I think his goal v Celtic at Parkhead in the 3-1 sums up his game perfectly.

Is he a goalscorer is a question worth debating too. I remember the furore on here because he hadn’t scored as many as people thought he should have before he joined us
