Outside of active, inactive, 2nd phase, when the ball is played directly to you there is no subjectivity. You are either offside or onside per the laws of the game at the time. If any part of the body (you can score with) is onside, the flag should remain down. 90% of the player could be off but as long as part of them is onside, all should be good.
