Running, creating openings, getting into positions for their team mates! Who is this team in maroon? I love them

We still struggle with the easy stuff way to many times. Also we hate a hospital pass. Hate that.

Why the hell has nielson only recently started playing McEneff in his proper position. No wonder we haven’t seen much from him yet. Mind boggling

Yep. You could see he was a good player, but because he was out of position it affected his game and the usual suspects were writing him off.

He has been his old big sexy self tonight. Absolutely delighted to see it.

One touch- pass.

No dithering, touch- pass, back to his best.

It's funny how shit this league is. We've been bobbins for weeks and yet we're still the top scorers in the league by 12 goals!

Салатные палочки

Maybe Rob's plan was to use the whole season as an exercise in finding tactics and a plan that actually works and tonight is the night????

Maybe not but we can dream.

He genuinely is not. Not much has come off for him tonight but his work rate has been great. Needs to stay onside though. He’s as bad as Juanma 😀

Maybe I'll re-phrase...

Sometimes, Gnanduillet is so lazy... Lol

Just the way he's stood still and watched things pass him by, or stood in an offside position with absolutely zero intention or effort to get onside.

When we're looking to turn defence into attack, Souttar, Haring and McEneff are the players to do that. We've never replaced Souttar or Haring and McEneff has a style we've needed for a while if he can find consistency. Add someone like Henderson (or GMS or Ginnelly or whoever can find form) running at people and Boyce on this sort of form and we're a different team. Just need most of the rest of them to remember they're footballers again.

All this has done tonight is prove how much of a tit RN has been this season.

This is the first game I’ve enjoyed this year.

It's because there isn't much difference between the rest and we are a good bit better- no matter how slow and shite we are.

Competitive below us.

The difference I’ve seen tonight is at the back. Much quicker ball movement and better balls out from defence. No coincidence that we have a football player back in defence.
Haring adding culture in the middle and Boyce on fire up front. Henderson providing what we’ve been missing in purposeful forward running.

Haring's performance tonight has really emphasised that Irving is very average.

Irving is still young tbf. Haring streets ahead of him, the lad should be signing his deal and then looking to become Peter Harings shadow. Copy his every move and become a sponge to Harings game. All these tricks Pete plays in midfield in and out of possesion. Class. Would need to be patient but 2-3 years time, Irving could absorb a lot of that. But maybe he fancies going away to play for Falkirk good luck to him if so.

To an extent but Haring and Souttar have made a difference

First match I've enjoyed in I dont know how long. Was considering this as the first game of the season I wouldn't watch too.

Get Berra and Popescu released now please.

Agreed, very little dithering at the back like previous weeks.

Should've enquired about Logan at the start of January. Aberdeen would've let him go earlier. Looks useful.
