Not really when our playing budget is over £8m and United had the closest to that at £4m last season. The other teams are poorer also, Morton with one GK, Ayr with the bus driver up front yesterday and his weedy third cousin once removed who came on as sub.

Is this just for the 1st team or does it include all playing staff such as women and the academy boys.

Where did you source the figure?

I must have been watching a different Hearts . Maybe because we hold the record for highest number of goals scored in top flight and Championship, I thought we were known as an attacking team. Parking the bus is typical of previous crap mangers like Levein, Tommy McLean, Joe Jordan. It’s a pity RN has succumbed to the same boring tactics.

This is some post. Not even sure where to start with it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's a real shame we haven't been able to break down teams but these are very strange times.  Liverpool, for example, have just lost 5 league games in a row.

Never thought I'd watch Hearts in a cup final without really caring whether we won it or not.

The sooner we're back in the PL, crowds are back and this bloody virus is history, the better.

My phrasing : I meant to emphasise the quality in their side at that time.

Yes, I agree they were a better side then.

Fairly obvious. My comments on previous managers was factually correct. Unfortunately RN who used to be proponent of attacking football now thinks that the midfield passing sideways and backwards puts the opposition under pressure. Hearts are dire under the current regime. We need a Burley, JJ, McDonald, or Walker type coaching the club.
