Lord Beni of Gorgie

Got to be much braver and faster in our passing. Safe possession, a decent strategy against better quality when you get punished for mistakes.

Only 2 teams in Scotland I would be advocating any level of caution.

Be brave,  all I am looking for

Shoot on sight policy today and follow in the shots for rebounds and goalie spilling it in the very wet conditions. Basic stuff that I was taught away back in 1971 when I started playing football competitively aged 8. The basics of football have not changed since the game was first played. Just roll up our sleeves and getintaethum.

Agree.

Game complicated lower down the levels. At top level tactics are important, but Scottish football is well off the top level let alone this pish league we find ourselves in

Put money on it then.

Do you know a bookie that gives olds on - "slow, short on effort but probably win cos other team are not very good"?

Just need to hope walker and naismith have clear separate roles today, can't be arsed seeing them get in each others way again

Dropping Boyce probably best, good to see Irving get a start.
Ginnelly unsurprisingly nowhere to be seen.

Walker needs to turn up . Is Moore injured ?

Walker will be the ‘width’ you would think, and he’ll constantly come inside as per, you would think

Walker and Lee need to step up big time.  They've been part of the issue with slow, pedestrian football that doesn't create chances against teams that sit in.

Wow - probably the slowest set of players in the squad. No pace/ no wingers.

GOING TO BORE US TO DEATH.

We lack width in my opinion.  Can see this being a slog but hopefully they prove me wrong

That could describe any game!

Ginnelly had a chance of being fit for Hibs game we were told 🤣🤣

This will be another snorefest, no pace in that team whatsoever.

Surprise, surprise, no sign of Ginnelly 😏

The new Souttar. Too injury prone.
Thing is he probably won’t improve us all that much we have built him up to be some superstar even though he has only played 2 good games.

Wasn't he 50/50 for the Hibs game the week after?

Haring was a possibility for the next game when Levein was in charge. It feels like our recruitment/scouts and physios/sport scientists are the worst of the worst but nothing is done about them.

Although it would help if we weren't spoon fed lies about when they're due back. Damour is another one...it seems to take specialists to diagnose all our players problems, not sure if that's the norm for most clubs or whether it's just us that like to disclose it.

What the f is it with not playing Haring?

We are so  much better when he's on the park

We weren’t last week.

That team should be good enough to beat Morton.

Fair enough if your opinion is based on one game

If Morton decide to sit in we will struggle with that team. As others have said, no width or pace - the attributes you need to counter a side that parks the bus.

It’s not. I think he’s a great player but maybe needs a rest.

Audio only again today then , joys of listening to ball goes sideways to Berra , hit long , out of play , goal kick to Morton for 90mins

Possibly, after repeatedly watching wingers who can't cross the ball and are creating nothing, Neilson has decided they're a waste time until he can find one, pacey or not, who can cross the ball and create something.

Hasn't addressed any of the problems of the last few weeks. The only solution to that is if he has the fullbacks pushed right up, which he won't

Exactly.

The Hibs game was 31 October ffs.

Been told every game he will be back for the next one.

Had enough of that sh*te from Levein.
