So I’ve just read two news articles.

 

First one stating that a 65 year old man was arrested and fined at an anti lockdown ceilidh outside the parliament.

 

Then I go on to read that 2 police officers were injured at the riot/protest at Celtic Park. No arrests made.

 

Good to see the Glasgow police looking after their own as per usual. No wonder Celtic fans go around doing as they please. 
 

Best fans in the word though. Lennon will never walk alone, eh bhoys?

We're hurting / angry after yesterday and rightly so - but we're not gathering outside Tynecastle with pitchforks. Yet...

 

This shower have lorded it over the whole of Scottish Football for the last few years and won however many trophies in a row - and this is the reaction the moment they stop winning! It's pathetic and self entitlement is exactly what it is. 

 

And I for one am absolutely loving it. Hope we ram it right up them in the SC Final.

I remember when Raith beat them in the LC final (got my uncle's ticket as he couldn't go) - never seen a ground empty so quickly in my life...well, until 2012.

 

Then their fans were deserting them in their thousands because they went 6 years without a trophy. Six bloody years. They have no idea what fans of other clubs go through.

Interesting enough, Amoruso Let’s It Run has just put highlights up of the 1-0 win against them in 95 at Hampden (the Hagen game) and the place is empty.  They were averaging 20-25k a game until Fergus came along and rebuilt the stadium.

Everyone at the Club is hugely disappointed by this afternoon’s result, one which has ended our phenomenal run of 35 consecutive cup victories.  

While we sincerely share the huge disappointment of all Celtic supporters, there can be no excuse for some of the violent scenes at Celtic Park this evening. The Club will be investigating these events fully.

For players and a management team, who have given so much in recent years and have delivered 11 consecutive trophies, to require an escort from Celtic Park while being targeted with missiles, is simply unacceptable.

While we understand that only a small number of people were involved in this behaviour, some of the actions this evening, which have obviously left our own players shaken, cannot be condoned in any way.

I've always believed that you should support your local team, but while there obviously is a sectarian angle here they have a large support from far and wide because there are people out there who pick their team based on how successful they are.
