Sorry but Clarke us pish. Those subs last week were the signal. No good manager takes off his best 3 players. He got away with that, but the last two results are embarrassing. Utter rubbish

Well we surrendered there points on Sunday cause Clarke wanted to show depth we have. He is the man to blame for this debacle.

Tbh I think it’s debatable how much of that was showing ‘depth’ and how much was protecting his first team from a hungover defeat.
If the first 11 was genuinely fit and ready to go(Dykes apart) it was stupidity.

Sunday was just confusing! One big push to effectively give us another likely 2-leg semi and a final route to the World Cup! But instead he chose to pile all the pressure on this one! It’s almost as if the manager hasn’t clocked how this nations league can benefit a country like ours (despite qualifying for a finals from it only last week). I would anticipate normal service now in our World Cup qualifying group...

Everything up for grabs and we play like this. So disappointing to watch this. Instead of playing top ranked sides and having possible play off for World Cup, we can play Albania and Isreal again.

See if it's isreal again.... Face 🌴

Get the job done at first chance and rest players. Instead, we party and **** about. Managers responsibility and managers failed.

Very nearly chucked it against Serbia with stupid ****ing substitutions too.

They've absolutely bottled it.

Bad luck for Boyce.  He might be OK.   Burke and Mcburnie though,  I think they're carrying a knock to the head maybe.

He was laughing when he went off, hopefully just a precaution.

Israel have won once in like 13 games. You can always rely on Scotland to lift the spirit of any team in the doldrums.

If nothing else, can this game be proof that the thumb isn’t the ****ing messiah? Hes as hopeless in a Scotland jersey as McBurnie, 22 caps and literally all he’s done is two flukey free kicks in 5 minutes v England.

We can’t play without Dykes.  The whole game plan is based around him now.  Take him out the equation the last few games and we wouldn’t be going to the Euros.

So turns out we’re not some super duper team now. Just the same punchless pish as usual but we’ve found out we’re really good at penalties.

Oli Burke 😂😂😂

I think he had to make changes after the Serbia game and the celebrations.

All roads lead to Gorgie

The Scottish press were about to Knight Clarke last week. He has carried a lot of luck but that doesn't make him a good manager. Can't take to him at all.

Utter jobbies. Had a lot of the ball but rarely looked like creating a clear cut chance. No glamour group A for us.

Good preparation for the Euro's.

**** off with McBurnie.

To be fair, he looked more like a striker tonight than thumb.

Why? Their manager made 4 while we made 8. They also had extra time win and are miles worse than Israel. Ridiculous decision at the time and still a ridiculous decision now.

Ollie Burke and Ollie McBurnie FFS. Utter shite. McKenna utter shite.

Andy Robertson utter shite, just utter shite.

Steve Clarke utter shite, just so shite and defensive.

The farcical over exuberance was embarrassing for a group of professionals. Yes, it was massive to qualify but the players and management should have been 100% aware that they were going again in the quarter finals of World Cup qualifying just 4 days later. Get the full job done and then celebrate...

Average player that Clarke then plays out of position.

Good performer for united and would be Scotlands best centre mid if he actually played there

Not that that's saying much

Agreed, but we are garbage at CB. Who can we pop look a up by there? An area we were super strong in for 20- odd years...

Yes you’re probably right there but I imagine it was spur of the moment. There were a few injuries and suspensions too. Back to normal it would seem.

International managers always seem to play someone out of position, trying to squeeze the best players in, square pegs in round holes doesn’t work over a lengthy period.
