Folk really could make the mod's job easier by not posting things that only get deleted a moment later.

How much is this per min?

Here are the costs for calling the 020 number, sorry if already posted.

Summary of 020 numbers

UK telephone numbers starting with 020 area codes are generally registered to new numbers in the capital city of London by default, however there can be exceptions. Calls to these numbers are only free if you have inclusive minutes remaining on your mobile tariff or you have a free landline calls bundle. Otherwise you have to pay an access charge to your provider followed by a per-minute rate, note that these charges may be higher for mobile customers therefore you should consider phoning 020 numbers from a landline handset if you have run out of minutes.

Minimum cost of calling 020 numbers on UK networks

  • Lowest 020 call charges for EE customers: you will have to pay 30p plus a 44p access charge if calling from a pay as you go mobile. Alternatively EE landline customers can call 020 numbers for just 12.5p plus a 20p connection fee.
  • Phoning 020 numbers on O2 Pay & Go will cost you 30p per minute plus a one-off access fee of 30p.
  • Minimum cost of calling 020 numbers on Vodafone: you will pay 11.5p per minute (19p access fee) if you use your landline, alternatively if you phone London numbers from a Vodafone pay as you go handset you will pay 30p to connect the call followed by 30p per minute thereafter

I am getting that terrible feeling that this is all going to go pear shaped for HMFC. That Killie (1965) Dundee 86) sinking feeling. Hope not but is just a feeling.

Let's be clear:  The SPFL DO NOT want a court to be involved and they DO NOT want to share documents....

....anyone with any amount of common sense can work out why! Surely to goodness!

The Judge will be a rockstar. This would be a huge case for him to preside over.

Has to be streamed live.

It's like there is a sensible solution that causes no harm to clubs, it's a slam dunk to get a vote approved, isn't it?

Earlier in the thread (quite a bit earlier tbh) people were talking about this case setting a precedent. Now can anyone tell me if Judges are very keen to avoid doing this or are they keen to be the ones setting the precedent?

Once upon a time these lines used to make money for both BT and the line operator. When they first appeared there was a story (that may have been urban myth) going about that some crooks got a lot of lines to call out to a fictional number they set up with BT. The story goes the number was being called 24/7 by these lines and BT paid out the imaginary company's monthly cut before getting in the revenue. Rumoured to be a couple of hundred thousand.

It'll depend on how popular the precedent is.

Lunch can't be far away. I know there are people out there that are prone to repeating themselves but it's so much worse when the topic they are covering is so technical and boring!

Punted straight to the SFA for a variety of reasons not the least of which will be boredom with all this dross on something that, in the grand scheme of things, isn’t that important.

Well, this precedent could see Celtic have their title annulled (doubtful but not out of the question).  It will also see 2 minor clubs lose promotion (more likely on my opinion).

Celtic being denied 9IR may cause some of their more 'enthusiastic' supporters to seek a bit of payback from the judge.

However the main thing is this would set, in Scot's Law, a precedent regarding the arbitration and settlement of disputes between companies and even constituent companies of larger holding corporations.
