Do either of you know any of the songs?

Could you do any of them on karaoke? Try a sing along of a couple. You can find the lyrics on Google or YouTube.

for me it is a really underrated tv show, i only know of one person who as watched it let alone heard of it. mainly comedy with some action.

the premise is a loser ends up with a government supercomputer in his head and ends up using it to help with comedic results

edit: all the episodes are free on amazon prime video if you want to check it out

Okay, wee bump with a dead easy one. Add to list if you know.

1) Driving Away From Home - It's Immaterial

2) Panic - The Smiths

3) Cry Baby Cry - The Beatles

You say "dead easy" as if it were dead easy :D

My first guess is Pinball Wizard - but I'm not confident.

Works, however disqualified for obvious reasons. I really did think it was easy. Have to think of a simpler one now.

Disqualification accepted.

Here's one that I think's easy - but I suppose if you know the answer...

All songs connected - add to the list :

1. Rock Around The Clock - Bill Haley and his Comets

2. Maggie May - Rod Stewart

3. Green Onions - Booker T

4. The Model - Kraftwerk

Well, it's not going to be based on the lyrics, is it? :biglaugh:

Would Bohemian Rhapsody fit?

Would I be correct in saying "Super Trouper" off of by ABBA?

Yeah, Super Trouper fits the bill. Think I need a clue on Felix's one, mind's a blank.

I can't think of another one for your theme, unless we go to a Fall track which would be very obvious.

I'm not confident with my guess at Felix's theme.

Yeah, The Fall would be perfect. Helen Wheels by Wings would be one.

I'm changing my guess at Felix's theme to You Can't Always Get What You Want by the Rolling Stones. I have the single - one of my very first purchases.

It definitely fits with two of the songs in the list; no idea about The Model but a possible for Bill Haley's.

I had the right idea with Pinball Wizard but you are being a little more specific (and I needed to listen further through It's Immaterial)

I think I know the theme but couldn’t see the link in the It’s Immaterial song lyrics. Then I discovered there are two different versions of them online as I didn’t know the song so had to look it up. So I’ll go for Just For Money by Paul Hardcastle.

Blinkin' Flip!!!

We will bloody well rock you, then.

I honestly worked out the theme without considering your post - it may have been in my subconscious, so thanks. The fact that The Model is in the theme is a big surprise to me; less so Bill Haley.

Yep. You have to listen through the song. No idea why the Google lyrics are for a completely different song.

PM me a clue as I'm still in the dark. Sometimes my mind can't get things that are staring me in front of my face.

Link has nothing to do with the band or the lyrics. It's the song..and vinyl.

Anyone here up for a new theme?

And songs you think fit the pattern of these doozies:

Pictures of Lily - The Who

Kodachrome - Paul Simon

Lola - The Kinks

A Day in the Life - The Beatles

I'm being mean by only starting with four. There are many more songs both before and since the era of those four and I trust y'all to find some.

As before, add another to the list, rather than stating the link.
