Boof Posted April 6, 2020 Author Share Posted April 6, 2020 An unusual day in the town. Accusations were flying left, right, centre, up, down...every which way but mine! Ultimately the axe fell upon swavkav, a townie as he was flung down the town well. Unfortunately he neglected to take his buoyancy aids with him but left them for us to enjoy in his avatar. Truly vexed about you not being able to participate, swavkav, but we needed to get it done somehow. For a bunch who lie around scoffing custard creams all day in front of Countdown, Tenable, Tipping Point, The Chase...you don't half get active when the sun goes down. First things first. The Cop was out on the beat again trying to see who was looking suspicious. They chanced upon someone who was doing...well, nobody could work out what...something with a turtle from the local pond. But that was all they were guilty of - the cop found someone good. The Doc was also out and about. Spotting someone in need of medication they administered a dose. And so to the goons...once more they were sneaking about. Taking careful aim they released the poison-tipped dart from their blowpipe. It sped towards the helpless victim and just as it was about to strike, the doctor rose from beside the intended target and their stethoscope deflected the deadly dart into the wall above. No goon victim tonight. The assassin was still intent on causing havoc. Stretching a piano wire between two trees they telephoned their proposed victim. The victim leapt onto their motorcycle and sped toward the assassin's trap. The piano wire sliced them clean in two. Who could possibly feel inclined to answer a telephone call late at night? That's right - the cop. Yes, townspeople, I'm afraid to say that Shapes, Cop, has been dispatched by the assassin. It is now morning. Unless I’ve got BS completely wrong then that’s not how it works at all. Cop investigates the person below them on night 1 and that’s it.
