Figures are only going one way just now, sadly. I think that was when we had deaths because they were'n't recorded as much at the weekend. Current testing of infections probably is reported accurately at the weekends. Deaths are rising in France, mate. About a month ago they were averaging about 10-15 deaths a day from CV. They now seem to be averaging about 25-35 a day. I think the idea is that normal "meeting up" outdoors merits a different rule from exercise and sport because it's addressing sitting blethering, having a coffee or a pint etc., i.e. where you're fairly static and where there's more chance of infection because of that. Little evidence to suggest that anyone is catching Covid while playing golf. Easy to stay 2m apart on a golf course compared to a party in someone's garden/house. Coastal walk could be hard too depending on the route and width of walkways. Also guaranteed they'd be walking side by side to have a good natter. If most of the 244 are asymptomatic it's possible that the numbers a few months ago were artificially low because the lower testing meant a lot of asymptomatic carriers weren't tested.
