I've read different figures, but the positivity rate in Scotland has been under more or less under 1.2% for a long while now. It's kicked up a couple of times recently, but the latest kick on top of the increased infection stats would have me slightly concerned as to what was around the corner. It'll probably be perfectly fine (and I apologise if it came over as scaremongering as this wasn't my intention), but for those who are tasked with watching the stats closely, they'll be looking at it and thinking "Is this indicative of something bigger emerging?" It's another signal to take into account. The relevant positivity stats:

The day it hits 5% it means not all cases are being picked up by testing and there is a high chance of more widespread community transmission.
