Would agree with this

I’m expecting to be back in the boozer before the 2nd half kicks off.

Going to Tynecastle has been a chore for far too long and unfortunately, I can’t see that changing on Sunday

Whelan doubtful?

No idea but I seen some of the ROI game last night and thought he looked like he was carrying a knock. And that was first half.

Fully expect HT to be at least 0-2; probably 0-3. First goal inside 15mins NAP.

Hate to say it but while I've gone tonto on the optimism scale and predicted a 2 goal win for us, your projection is much more likely.

We can only hope.

Is Walker back?

Hoping to be back for this weekend, source, Jamie Walker.

I go to every game hoping we will win, but accept that in some games that might not happen. In such cases you are looking for indications that things are on the up, going in the right direction. At this point in time the team from Glasgow are going in the right direction, we are not. The recent results against St Mirren, away, and Kilmarnock at home did nothing more than confirm the result down at Easter Road only temporarily papered over an ever growing crack. I'll be there on Sunday hoping for something but expecting nothing. Unfortunately that also applies to the two games which follow, away to Livingston and St Johnstone. At the conclusion of those games we could very well be propping up the league again. We are not lining up and playing to win games, we are lining up and playing to try not to lose, the totally wrong approach to take.

Were so far behind that lot ' we shouldn't be allowed on the same pitch ! Sad but true , wee laddies v bigger better laddies ' and prob refs help too ,although they shouldn't need it , " it's going to happen on at least another 4 occasions this season ,so I think we best get used to it......

is it too early to start one of these?

I'm feeling optimistic, if we there fans get behind the players, forget the Boycott for 90 mins and drive the team win.. I think we might just get a result against them..

The Cat

Smith Clevid Berra Hickey

Whelan Irvine

Mulraney Meshino Walker

Uche

How can you possibly feel optimistic?

Personally think we we will get humped

I’m not ruling out scoring a goal on Sunday. I just think we’ll ship 3/4 too.

There is absolutely no evidence we are capable (as things stand ie - the current set up) of beating the currants.  Funnier things have happened, of course. Just don’t see it.

Our home record is brutal. Almost 7 months now without a win in the league. Leveins record as a manger when playing them is even worse!

Hearts 1 The Rangers 3

We’ve no chance. It’s sad I say this but we have been woeful whilst Sevco have been clinical and ruthless.
I only ask I’m proved wrong.

We really need a win. I don’t care about papering over cracks or buying Craig more time it’s glorious to beat that shower of shite. I think we’ll sneak this with a dodgy penalty.

Let’s be honest with Morelos and Defoe we look bang in trouble in this game. However CL is getting pelters again, the club will be aware of the protest chat and it’s at these times CL has the uncanny knack of pulling a result out the bag. The momentum rangers had may have been halted by the break. Straw clutching I know.

Harring back and partnering Whelan is a strong pair who can protect Berra a bit. Meshino brings something different if we can get him on the ball and Uche will hopefully unsettle a largely untroubled so far Rangers back line.

If they go a couple in front tho, I’d fear a real doing the confidence levels in this team are woefully low and they won’t get a break from the crowd if it starts to go tits up!

Given our woeful home start to the season. Sevco going top of the league before the international break. Celtic playing on Saturday, Sevco will not want to give up top spot for long.

I can't see anything other than an away win in this one. It really pains to write this.

Sevco will smell blood right from the off. Gerrard will know of our poor record. Their players will feed into it. An early goal for them really could go on to be a pasting for us.

Please, please let me be so wrong in my thought process though.

Wow, that’s a lot of Sevco’s.

Just hope we can keep it tight early on and quiet their crowd.  Keep our shape.  Then if we score we should expect to be able to get at least a point.

This is the system which has to be employed against Rangers because it just is.

It might work sometime.

6 loses (one 0:5 and two 0:3)

It's not that bad, at least he knows how to win against the blue shirts.

Some interesting matches we have here.

3 sides of Tynecastle empty well before the end, the Roseburn end bouncing to all the usual party tunes as the rangers players lap it up at the final whistle.

Anyway, that's the head speaking, heart says we are bound to win sometime soon :scenes:

Gerards Rangers were the best team at Tynecastle last season .

I know we were poor the last game but it like the way Rangers played and play under Gerard.

We will need to raise our game significantly.

And can we match Rangers movement.

Its worrying and this game is a definite measure .

Captain Canada

Most of their best play comes from the wide areas. I'd set up differently to what we have been to try to stifle them. I don't think we have enough quality in attack to have a real go at them unfortunately.

Joel

Smith Dikamona Berra Hickey

Morrison Whelan Haring Mulraney

Ryo

Uche

Subs: Doyle, Damour, Irving, Brandon, Clare, Keena and Walker

I don't think Naismith will be risked. I'm not sure it really matters how we line up.

If we lack effort like we have done so many times already this season, then we'll lose.

Shocking stats from a serial loser

the only thoughts going through his negative mindset will be how to stop them playing and see if we can nick a goal

Sevco are getting cocky again since they went top

I'd love it (insert kevin Keegan emoji)

If we pumped them, but they'll more than likely pump us.

Having said that, being the underdog at home might take the pressure off our players so you never know

Unfortunately I only see 1 outcome on Sunday and that’s a very comfortable Rangers win. Gerrard has them looking like a real team who can finish off most teams and given our form and overall performances of late it won’t take much for them to bury us. 5-0 Rangers is what I can see happening. I would loved to be proved wrong but unfortunately I can’t see where we can stop them given our shortages at the back.

Levein is contractually obliged to lose to Rangers

We are talking a certainty here.

Winners win and losers lose.

Hibs away at Hamilton will mean we will fall lower down the league

Pumped, utterly pumped.

3 or 4 to our 1.

Miserable exit down the wheatfield steps once again.

Levein blaming everyone.

Three or four against might not be a bad result.  I fear it could be a much more damaging score line.

Absolutely smashed 4 or 5 nil.

The debate of whether to give this clown another week will roll in when he says after the game we made basic errors, we will be better next week when we have our injured players back, I am determined to turn this round blah blah blah blah !!!
