I go to every game hoping we will win, but accept that in some games that might not happen. In such cases you are looking for indications that things are on the up, going in the right direction. At this point in time the team from Glasgow are going in the right direction, we are not. The recent results against St Mirren, away, and Kilmarnock at home did nothing more than confirm the result down at Easter Road only temporarily papered over an ever growing crack. I'll be there on Sunday hoping for something but expecting nothing. Unfortunately that also applies to the two games which follow, away to Livingston and St Johnstone. At the conclusion of those games we could very well be propping up the league again. We are not lining up and playing to win games, we are lining up and playing to try not to lose, the totally wrong approach to take. MattyK82
I’m not ruling out scoring a goal on Sunday. I just think we’ll ship 3/4 too. There is absolutely no evidence we are capable (as things stand ie - the current set up) of beating the currants. Funnier things have happened, of course. Just don’t see it. Our home record is brutal. Almost 7 months now without a win in the league. Leveins record as a manger when playing them is even worse! Rudy T
Let’s be honest with Morelos and Defoe we look bang in trouble in this game. However CL is getting pelters again, the club will be aware of the protest chat and it’s at these times CL has the uncanny knack of pulling a result out the bag. The momentum rangers had may have been halted by the break. Straw clutching I know. Harring back and partnering Whelan is a strong pair who can protect Berra a bit. Meshino brings something different if we can get him on the ball and Uche will hopefully unsettle a largely untroubled so far Rangers back line. If they go a couple in front tho, I’d fear a real doing the confidence levels in this team are woefully low and they won’t get a break from the crowd if it starts to go tits up! Celtic playing on Saturday, Sevco will not want to give up top spot for long. I can't see anything other than an away win in this one. It really pains to write this. Sevco will smell blood right from the off. Gerrard will know of our poor record. Their players will feed into it. An early goal for them really could go on to be a pasting for us. Please, please let me be so wrong in my thought process though. Wow, that’s a lot of Sevco’s.
Coco
Just hope we can keep it tight early on and quiet their crowd. Keep our shape. Then if we score we should expect to be able to get at least a point. This is the system which has to be employed against Rangers because it just is. It might work sometime. jake
Gerards Rangers were the best team at Tynecastle last season . I know we were poor the last game but it like the way Rangers played and play under Gerard. We will need to raise our game significantly. And can we match Rangers movement. Its worrying and this game is a definite measure .
Captain Canada
Most of their best play comes from the wide areas. I'd set up differently to what we have been to try to stifle them. I don't think we have enough quality in attack to have a real go at them unfortunately. Joel Smith Dikamona Berra Hickey Morrison Whelan Haring Mulraney Ryo Uche Subs: Doyle, Damour, Irving, Brandon, Clare, Keena and Walker I don't think Naismith will be risked. I'm not sure it really matters how we line up. If we lack effort like we have done so many times already this season, then we'll lose. letsalldothebeattie
Unfortunately I only see 1 outcome on Sunday and that’s a very comfortable Rangers win. Gerrard has them looking like a real team who can finish off most teams and given our form and overall performances of late it won’t take much for them to bury us. 5-0 Rangers is what I can see happening. I would loved to be proved wrong but unfortunately I can’t see where we can stop them given our shortages at the back.
