I was about 16 and vaguely aware there was a war in Yugoslavia but this made me read and realise what was happening. Still shocks me now. The absolute contempt for the dead is visceral. For anyone unfamiliar, this is one of of Arkan’s Serbian ‘tigers’ kicking the body of a dying or dead Muslim woman civilian, alongside the bodies of her family. I was in the ATC as a lad, back in the 80's, had summer camp at RAF Binbrook twice, the Lightnings were based there, just started to get phased out by the Tornado on our 2nd visit.
