They have a hundred like him coming behind. We we need him to hit the ground immediately and contribute with no settling period. We don’t have the luxury of time. yes but given the players we’ve lost didn’t contribute at all, and this guy is clearly miles ahead in terms of talent.. it’s not really a gamble

He needs to hit the ground running and must show he’s better than what we have let go. I think as much as this can be a great signing it is very much high risk. Can Levein take that chance. I doubt it. That's the spirit. You give the lad a chance to settle in.

Remember the ability Rudi had to either thunder shots into the net or place them so accurately that they always seemed to be going in off the inside of the post. Hope I have not now put the jinx on the young man with that comparison.

Lambo85
I hope this lad does not start tomorrow. Regardless of how good this lad is / might be, he surely needs time to train with his team mates being being thrown in. We need to give this lad ever oppertunity to do well for us. Last thing we want is for him to be thrown in tomorrow and for him to play really poorly. The fans will be on his back before he has even really started. Cruyff Turn
Give the laddie a chance. Welcome him. He’s a young guy in a new place, he can’t speak the lingo, probably hasn’t encountered a league where attackers get booted up and down the park, or a league that is played at such a high tempo. Man City can sign anyone in the world they want bar maybe Messi and Ronaldo, and they chose to spend a million quid or so this lad. So he’s not going to be shite. He might not be the finished article but the Japanese players are always supremely professional, try their best and don’t want to fail. Looking forward to seeing Ryo in action. He looks very direct, two footed and skilful. For me, this is an omission the desperate days of last season and launching the ball back to front are a thing of the past. Now, we’ll look to play football on the deck. Exciting times ahead. 🇱🇻 HHGH
