Hope so.    The transfer has been conducted in a long winded way.    Stringing it out.    If we end up looking like bassoons then the repercussions will bad.    Could be that the oboes have the brass neck to snare him.

I believe Anne is reviewing in house procedures i.e not happy with how some departments are being run.....feels we can be run far more effectively and efficiently and will review everyone's role in house. Who does what, who answers to who etc. We have to remember we now have a state of the art stand,  which has tripled the workload for staff in the past year. Corporate and hospitality is the best it's ever been at Hearts

Whelan and Morrison coming in would be incredible business imo.

It would still leave us short a quality right winger and CF to give Uche something to worry about.

Very hush hush on Morrison

He has been offered a deal to become one of our top earners. That was last week,  In saying that he isn't short on offers. There is a long list of of clubs wanting James at their club with far bigger financial resources than us. The club have done absolutely everything in their power to get him here though, they have went well beyond their means in convincing him that,  Hearts would be an exceptional fit for him, and us.

This is good to hear. I hope they have done enough to convince him. But very good to hear we have tried very hard to get him. Fingers crossed he decides to join our story.

We may not get Wheelan or Morrison...but if we got both, IMO we would definitely without question have the best squad outwith the ugly sisters.

A future team leader I hear, although there are questions over his conduct.

Not since it was discovered he had history with the team formerly known as Rangers. An Orc hestra.

Did we run this past the JKB paymasters committee?

could we possibly be after both?? Was that the 2 missing shirts in AB’s video interview today?

That would be quite a statement!!

But would that statement be enough for certain posters?

Probably not. No matter what Levein and AB done or tried to do it will never be enough.

Damn right. Quality over quantity for sure. They'd enhance everyone's game, as Naismith & Berra have.

I'd still be inclined to go for Cummings (or another no.9) too. Unproven I know, but Keena seems to be the only penalty box finisher, and he's still untested.

Release/ loan out MacLean, Wighton, Currie etc.

The whole point is to have an experienced spine.

Berra - Whelan - Naismith

Having three younger players in the back four doesn’t make any sense to me. Berra must and almost definitely will start for Hearts this season.

I think Walker will have to play either right wing or right mid. Naismith plays in his best position. Agree on centre forward would love to get Lafferty back.

I agree and have not taken it as a "source of information",  JM has been mentioned on here on numerous occasions as a target and then when I seen it had been posted on Instagram by a Hearts related account stating he has spent 2 days with us I wandered if there was any truth in it.

My question/query was based on the fact it was another outlet that has linked us with Morrison and took it up a notch by stating he was at Tynecastle. The same outlet also stated that Whelan was also present.

In theory someone posting that info on Instagram, facebook or on JKB has the same potential to be true or false because at the end of the day its just people posting whatever they want online?

Like I said in original post it was in no way aimed at yourself, you didn’t need to explain 👍

If anything it was more a personal rant at social media.

We need a back-up or competition for Uche.

if Uche is injured or out of form we need to change our favoured style. Having a suitable alternative to Uche is the best solution.

Walker is far from a pacy right winger.

Agreed, but where would he play instead? You've also got Morrison, McDonald and (possibly) Zanatta breaking through.

Where he played v Dundee Utd is probably his best position now. Right side of midfield and coming in supporting the attack. Running with the ball and beating a full back before sending over crosses isn’t his game.

I did say right wing or right mid originally. A 4-4-2 with Mulraney as a winger and Walker as a right mid looks good to me. Just need the centre midfielders sorted out.

I don't like to criticise the young lads, but in my opinion only McDonald has a chance of making it at Hearts.

The other two are nowhere near the standard required.

Disagree regarding Morrison. Felt he was a big loss for us when he was our injured.

So....

it still leaves us in us in a position of not having a decent and experienced right winger.

MacDonald would be my pick as well.

Hickey has also started very well.

Hickey and Connor Smith have looked the best to me. MacDonald flits in and out a bit but does have potential.

Agree but I think Macdonald will get more chances this year. As an aside I noticed Milinkovic not quoted for Hull today and would have liked us to get him on loan. Another player I would have enquired about who is not quoted today is Louis Moult, surprised no one in Scotland has tried to sign him.

What step up?? Unless you missed it he is still in the championship. That's because not one premiership team bought him

Preston signed a striker for £2 million from Coventry. I don't think Moult will get many starts tbh.

So no announcement yesterday and nothing today.

Why has Daza been so definitive about the announcement?

A very strange desire to appear ITK on a message board?

Anyway, I hope he signs. Would be a cracking signing!

I assumed (perhaps wrongly) ETE was Dazas new/other nom de plume.

Someone mentioned it in reply to him last night.
