Jambo, Goodbye

You would have hoped that playing for a place in the cup final would be motivation to perform. The amount of time and space their players had was embarrassing.

Most of them don't need to worry.  They won't get dropped when the back-up is championship level at best.

Levein v Rangers:

Played 24
Won 1
Drawn 3
Lost 20
For 13
Against 51

Currently on a 0-7 run since he returned to the dugout. Thats an awful lot of 'individual mistakes'.

How, he was correct and two players made bad mistakes.

How does that make him clueless?

What he said pre match was correct.

And who's job is it to try to stop that happening time and time again.

It was more than individual errors the defence was cut through with ease time and again, without the Orcs getting out of second gear.

4 straight defeats to rangers only the first game at Tynecastle did we deserve anything.

Pathetic performance ,2-0 down and no changes at half time ???

More worryingly from my own point of view is I don’t care about it as much as I usually do , I’ve been bored to apathy .

Will  I be brave enough to not renew ?

Maybe they have a manager who’ll tell them to get wired in?

maybe they have more respect for their fans who’re paying their wages to sit back and be the old firms bitches!!!

That was simply one of the worst Hearts performances I have seen. Players look like they don't understand tactics, no pace, no energy, no movement, can't pass and not motivated. Something is badly wrong.

Most teams when they get a late goal raise their games at least but not us. Right back to retreating into our own half again. Where is the leadership driving our ambitions. Not there.

That was awful.

Two changes should've been made at half time.

No urgency. Lack of pressing. Nobody except Zlamal stood out.

Sadly, a dress rehearsal for the final, I fear. Slow start, feeble, not at the races and game over by half time.

We're in the final because of the luck of the draw. No other reason.

Nephew and I left before McLean's goal. Depressing, soul destroying stuff. It reminded me of defeats in the '80/81 season when tools were downed and we just went through the motion of turning up, taking defeat then shuffling off the field.

The football is trash and we are failing in our objective.

Budge needs to serious review Leveins position. We've little to no chance of bagging another win to the end the season. We're going to take a pumping off Celtic before the cup final guaranteed. Whoever makes that trip has my utmost respect and sympathy. Should be mega loyalty points on offer for that shitshow to come.

Instead of shutting sections, she should be focused on doing everything she can to make sure the product on the park is worth what the supporters put into the club. Its currently so far below that its insulting.

100% spot on.

That was very poor today, but just not unexpected. The frightening thing is if we play like that In the final versus Celtic the scoreline could get pretty scary.

I didn't think we would pick up any points from the 5 post split fixtures and I saw nothing today to make me reconsider that. I was even tempted just to walk out after 60 minutes, because the game was over long before then. Eventually left after 85 minutes, bored out my tits.

You are correct there is lack of fight and leadership.

We need a Pressley or Hartley type in the team,

From what I read he doesn’t attend away games. Maybe if he did he’d have a differing view but who knows.

I don’t mind the guy tbh, for balance he provides an alternative view.

Now in the back garden with a nice cold beer to calm my rage, that was a shocking performance when was the last time we shipped 3 goals against, Rangers or The Rangers at Tynecastle ?. My patience like many others has ran out we need a change, play anything like that today and Celtic will eat us alive, I am going to the final more in hope than expectation.

There’s a photo of Maclean clapping the fans at FT ??‍♂️.

Poor today but is anyone surprised. Manager has never beaten these scumbags at home with us or United, they weren’t great. So many empty seats by the end, if he doesn’t leave we will see a lot more of that next season. The players totally ignored what he said they needed to do, again.

Untrue.

I've said his position needs reviewed in the summer for sometime

I just don't and never have seen the benefit in changing managers during a season unless things are terrible, as in relegation or not top 6 and losing the dressing room.

6th in the league and a lc semi and a sc final is not terrible, despite what folk think.

He deserves to see the season out and I see no benefit to changing it now.

Wanting to wait until the summer for a review, and in the event of a change we can do it in a constructive and positive way, unlike the Robbie - Cathro change is pretty normal imo.

Any change we make now is crucial, it has to be planned, positive and correct. Not knee jerk.

I have said this since December, and unlike some don't become a slavering, emotional wreck after a defeat.

A fair and measured response.

but do you think, player for player rangers where that much better than us?

rotten is perhaps a very emotive and angry word, but perhaps soft is more accurate and this softness permeates down from he top and also up from the bottom through Leviens coaching staff.

fundementally something is wrong. And it’s wrong because of the people in charge and how they motivate and move our club forward.

something needs to change asap

Aye I’ve read your position on matters once or twice before.

I want us to have the best opportunity of winning the cup. It’s my view that would be with Levein leaving the club asap.

I know it isn’t going to happen but come the Summer I fear we’ll be wishing it had.

There would be nothing knee jerk about CL leaving the club tonight given the run of form we are on.

In fact to go further, it’s my belief that had this been another manager other than Craig Levein  he’d already be away.

Allowing Craig Levein to continue because he is Craig Levein first and foremost is gross mismanagement from the board.

Gross mismanagement...... Ffs.

Hyperbole.

Time will tell reference the cup.

I think v celtic over the past two seasons our record is one of the better ones v them, so unsure of your logic reference the  cup final.

Two wins.

Think only Killie have managed that.

Could be wrong tho, but be interesting to see what man would come in and increase our chances of winning our 4th trophy in almost 55 years.

If we had such a man, we really should have wheeled him out 40 years ago.

Until Craig Levein/Ann Budge/FOH start spending money on a better standard of player, nothing is going to change and Hearts are always going to be third best at best, behind Rangers and Celtic.

These two are 1st and 2nd because they spend money on better quality players. The team with the better quality players will almost always finish top.

If Hearts don't have the money to compete with them, then we shouldn't be so surprised every time we lose to them.

Frustrating as hell, but it is what it is.

Very apt username as gives an insight into your comments...

FoH cash hasnt and hopefully will never directly go to fund wages/transfer fees etc...that would be the line I would draw...

It will go into development of players which hopefully in time will result in cash for the club in anycase....

3rd best is exactly what we should aim for base minimum and we are so far from that it defies belief....

The £€£€£€£ thrown at recruitment isnt the problem, its the decisions made surrounding the player thats the issue, not the amount....as the league table tells you this as Killie and Hibs are again this season ahead of us but dont have as heavy a wage bill....simples....
